Artykuł jest poświęcony przedstawieniu relacji pomiędzy informacją geologiczną, jako prawem majątkowym podmiotowym przysługującym Skarbowi Państwa, a formami, kategoriami jej utrwaleń w postaci dokumentów i dokumentacji geologicznych. Artykuł zawiera przedstawienie od strony prawnej zakresu danych geologicznych, ich przetworzeń, interpretacji, jako elementów informacji geologicznej utrwalonych w dokumentach i dokumentacjach geologicznych. Jest również podjęciem próby wypracowania metody identyfikacji innych praw majątkowych podmiotów z tytułu własności intelektualnej im przysługującej do utworów, które mogą być utrwalone w tych dokumentach i dokumentacjach.

This paper focuses on presenting relationship occurring between geological information as a property right owned by State Treasury and the forms, categories of its consolidation in a form of documents and geological documentations. This paper also presents from a legal point of view the range of geological data, geological data processing and its interpretation as the elements of geological information consolidated in documents and geological documentation. It is also an attempt to find methodology suitable to identify other property rights owned by entities in terms of intellectual property rights assigned to their works, which can be consolidated in these documents and documentations.
