Artykuł stanowi wgląd w podstawy projektowania, będące kanwą prób projektowych początkujących adeptów architektury wnętrz. Myślą przewodnią wieloetapowego autorskiego zadania projektowego przeprowadzonego ze studentami architektury wnętrz było poszukiwanie wielopłaszczyznowej relacji przestrzennej opartej na procesie projektowo-analitycznym z położeniem akcentu na m.in. harmonijną kompozycję, skalę człowieka oraz świadomą kreację estetyczną. Rozbudowane ćwiczenie stanowiło twórczy impuls i istotny czynnik kształtowania świadomości projektowej, otwierając wyobraźnię studentów i wyposażając ich w niezbędne narzędzia projektowe, takie jak rozumienie formy, funkcji, materiału oraz relacji z adresatem projektu i otoczeniem.

The article provides an insight into the fundamentals of design, which are the basis of design attempts by beginner interior architecture students. The guiding principle of the original multi-stage design task conducted with interior design students was the search for a multi-dimensional spatial relationship based on the design and analytical process with emphasis on, inter alia, harmonious composition, human scale and conscious aesthetic creation. The extended exercise provided a creative impulse and an important factor in shaping design awareness, opening the imagination of students and equipping them with the necessary design tools, such as understanding the form, function, material and the relationship with the recipient of the project and the environment.

Ze względu na postępujące zjawisko starzenia się społeczeństwa na świecie coraz większą popularność zyskują rozwiązania z zakresu tzw. budownictwa senioralnego. W swoim głównym założeniu skupiają się one na potrzebach i środowisku życia seniorów. Mówiąc o osobach starszych, należy zaznaczyć, że nie ma jednej, ustalonej granicy wieku określającej takie osoby. Często ze względu na długi okres przeżywania starości, stopień oraz sposób użytkowania przez nich przestrzeni ich potrzeby ulegają znacznym zmianom. Dlatego też przestrzeń, w jakiej spędzają czas, nie może być jednakowa i odgórnie zdefiniowana, lecz powinna jak najlepiej odpowiadać zdywersyfikowanym potrzebom jej użytkowników. Artykuł ma na celu analizę stosowanych w Polsce form kształtowania przestrzeni wewnętrznej mieszkań przeznaczonych dla osób starszych w zależności od stopnia ich niezależności bądź wymaganej pomocy. Porównane zostaną realizacje powstałe w ramach inicjatywy „Wzorcowe Mieszkanie Seniora” oraz inwestycji senioralnych Atlantis Senior w Opolu. Wyznaczone zostaną kluczowe elementy takiej przestrzeni oraz rozwiązania, które powinny być brane pod uwagę podczas tworzenia założeń funkcjonalno-przestrzennych powstałych z myślą o osobach starszych.

Due to the increasing aging of the world population, solutions in the field of so-called senior housing are becoming more and more popular. They focus mainly on the needs and living environment of seniors. There is no age limit for older people, as the degree and way in which they use space and their needs change. Therefore, the space in which they spend their time cannot be defined uniformly and from above, but should respond as closely as possible to the diversified needs of users. The aim of this article is to analyse the forms of interior design applied in Poland in relation to the level of independence and support required. The projects developed under the “Sample Senior Housing” initiative and the senior investments of Atlantis Senior Developer in Opole are compared. It identifies the key elements of such a space and the solutions that should be taken into account when developing functional and spatial assumptions for older people.

This paper is an attempt to take a closer look on this issue in the context of design experiments carried out in the Interior Design Studio by second-year Interior Design students, Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts, Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University. The formula adopted in the studio is seeking the form, analysing, building structures, experiencing, discussing and making presentations. In designing we refer to numerous disciplines. The design process combines both visual arts, technical and sociological disciplines. The project is conducted with reference to the issues of building a structure of specific content, with distinctive signs of a residential space. The idea of a residential space is built based on material and emotional categories, an analysis of structures that serve equivalent functions, as well as inspirations drawn from culture and science. The presented designs show the multifaceted nature of interpreting and understanding of the residential space. Design education is an endless process that is constantly changing despite the adopted rules and methods, thus making it continuously relevant to exchange experiences and update knowledge on the subject.

Referat jest próbą przyjrzenia się temu zagadnieniu w kontekście doświadczeń projektowych prowadzonych w ramach przedmiotu Projektowanie architektury wnętrz na Wydziale Architektury i Sztuk Pięknych Krakowskiej Akademii im. Andrzeja Frycza Modrzewskiego. Formułą pracowni są poszukiwania formy, analiza, budowanie struktur, doświadczanie, dyskusje, prezentacje. Projektując odnosimy się do wielu dyscyplin. Proces projektowy integruje w sobie zarówno dyscypliny plastyczne, techniczne jak i socjologiczne. Zadanie projektowe prowadzone jest w odniesieniu do zagadnień budowania struktury o określonych treściach, o znamionach przestrzeni mieszkalnej. Idea przestrzeni mieszkalnej jest budowana w oparciu o kategorie materialne i emocjonalne, o analizę obiektów o analogicznej funkcji jak i inspiracje ze świata kultury i nauki. Prezentowane projekty pokazują różnorodność interpretowania i rozumienia przestrzeni zamieszkiwania. Nauka projektowania to niekończący się proces i mimo przyjętych reguł i metod nieustannie ulegający zmianom, zatem niezmiennie aktualna jest wymiana doświadczeń i odnawianie wiedzy w tym temacie

The contemporary housing environment in Europe is changing dynamically, influenced by factors related to the struggle against climate change and adverse demographic phenomena. The pace of change has also increased in response to the challenges posed by the pandemic, conflicts and the energy crisis. These reasons have started a process of change in the approach to the design of residential areas, directing the attention of designers towards meeting the needs linked to creating housing architecture that implements the postulates of connection to nature, inclusivity in response to cultural diversity, and sustainable design by extending the residential space to include rooms or facilities with a different use. The aim of the research presented in this paper was to diagnose the factors that influence the creation of an interior space that is conducive to intergenerational and intercultural integration. The study was carried out under the FRSE, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway grants programme (EOG/21/K4/W/0048W/0175). By assessing the elements of an interior’s composition, the factors that exclude as well as activate its space were examined, as were the spatial conditions that affect building its place-based identity and which influence its activation. The study’s conclusions are illustrated using projects prepared by second-year, first-cycle students at the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology, enrolled in Architecture and Architecture in English programmes.

The subject of the research undertaken is the use of available research methods in interior design, with particular emphasis on the user experience method. The purpose of the study is to demonstrate the validity of conducting pre-design participatory research, focused on the functionality and efficiency and desirability of the designed solutions. The study used a survey method, involving two groups of respondents: legal professionals and their administrative services, and target law firm employees. The survey was designed to formulate conclusions about the negative and positive factors affecting the comfort of doing work, to define the expectations of employees related to functional, stylistic and aesthetic solutions.

Tematem podjętych badań jest wykorzystanie dostępnych metod badawczych w projektowaniu architektonicznym wnętrz, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem metody user experience. Celem badania jest wykazanie zasadności prowadzenia przedprojektowych badań partycypacyjnych, ukierunkowanych na funkcjonalność i sprawność oraz celowość projektowanych rozwiązań. W badaniu wykorzystano metodę sondażową. Badanie zaprojektowano w sposób pozwalający na sformułowanie wniosków dotyczących negatywnych i pozytywnych czynników wpływających na komfort wykonywania pracy, na zdefiniowanie oczekiwań pracowników związanych z rozwiązaniami funkcjonalnymi, stylistycznymi oraz estetycznymi.

The concept of biophilic design aims to restore the relationship between humans and nature in the spaces we live in. The study presented in the article concerns public library spaces in which natural greenery was introduced as an integral part of the interior design. The analysis involves quantitative observation with an eye-tracking device. The results demonstrate the rate of observed fixation points presented as heat maps, which describe the connection between the presence of greenery in the interiors and the observers' viewing track. The presented conclusions on desirable qualities and composition of greenery in the interior are applicable in the interior architecture.

Koncepcja projektowania biofilnego ma na celu przywrócenie relacji między człowiekiem a naturą w przestrzeniach, w których żyjemy. Przedstawione w artykule badanie dotyczy przestrzeni bibliotek publicznych, w których naturalna zieleń została zaprojektowana jako integralna część projektu wnętrza. Analiza opiera się na badaniu ilościowym z wykorzystaniem urządzenia śledzącego wzrok (eyetracking device). Wyniki przedstawiają intensywność występowania punktów fiksacji wzroku przedstawione jako mapy ciepła (heat-maps), które opisują związek pomiędzy obecnością zieleni we wnętrzu a ścieżką wzroku obserwatorów. Przedstawione wnioski co do pożądanych cech i kompozycji zieleni we wnętrzu mają charakter aplikacyjny w architekturze wnętrz.

As part of the research, a number of diseases were characterized, such as glaucoma, Leber's disease, multiple sclerosis, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, optic neuritis, neurodegenerative diseases, retinal artery aneurysm and retinal vascular diseases. The importance of adapting spaces to the needs of people with visual field disorders in the context of universal design was emphasized. The research conducted at the LIMBA Student House focused on analyzing the accessibility of common spaces for people with such problems. Some modifications were found to be necessary. Changes were suggested that could improve the quality of life of residents, especially those with visual field disorders.

W ramach przeprowadzonych badań, dokonano charakterystyki szeregu chorób, takich jak jaskra, choroba Lebera, stwardnienie rozsiane, retinopatia cukrzycowa, zwyrodnienie plamki żółtej, zapalenie nerwu wzrokowego, choroby neurodegeneracyjne, tętniak tętnicy siatkówkowej oraz choroby naczyniowe siatkówki. Podkreślono znaczenie dostosowania przestrzeni do potrzeb osób z zaburzeniami pola widzenia w kontekście uniwersalnego projektowania. Przeprowadzone badania w Domu Studenckim LIMBA skupiły się na analizie dostępności przestrzeni wspólnych dla osób z takimi problemami. Stwierdzono, że konieczne są pewne modyfikacje. Zasugerowano zmiany, które mogą poprawić jakość życia mieszkańców, zwłaszcza osób z zaburzeniami pola widzenia.

Atrakcyjne dla użytkowników środowisko mieszkaniowe musi być funkcjonalne, piękne i dawać poczucie bezpieczeństwa. Środowisko mieszkaniowe XXI wieku musi też sprostać wyzwaniom określonym w idei włączenia społecznego. Celem badań przedstawionych w artykule było określenie wpływu dziedzictwa naturalnego i kulturowego na kształtowanie wnętrz służących integracji społecznej w obszarze środowiska mieszkaniowego. Badanie przeprowadzono w ramach programu frse, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway Grants. Zbadano, jakie aspekty dziedzictwa brane są pod uwagę w projektowaniu wnętrz w Norwegii, w której idea włączenia społecznego odgrywa rolę wiodącą w rozwoju kraju. Wyniki odniesiono do sytuacji w Polsce. Wnioski z badań, które posłużyły jako punkt wyjścia do próby wytyczenia kierunków kształtowania wnętrz architektonicznych opartych na dziedzictwie przyrodniczym i kulturowym, zilustrowano aranżacjami wnętrz zaprojektowanymi przez studentów I roku Wydziału Architektury Politechniki Krakowskiej. A housing environment that is attractive to users must be functional, beautiful, and induce a sense of safety. The housing environment of the twenty-first century must also meet challenges specified in the idea of social inclusion. The objective of the study presented in this paper was to determine the impact of natural and cultural heritage on the design of interiors used for social integration within the housing environment. The study was conducted as a part of the FRSE Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway Grants. The study investigated the heritage aspects considered during interior design in Norway, where the idea of social inclusion plays a leading role in the country’s development. The findings were compared to the situation in Poland. Conclusions were used as a starting point for defining directions for architectural interior designs based on natural and cultu- ral heritage, illustrated with interior arrangements designed by first-year students of the Faculty of Architecture of the Cracow University of Technology. The designs, inspired by nature and art, were prepared with consideration for social inclusion.

The influence of global lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly impacted the lives of many people. Once performed elsewhere, many activities had to be moved to private spaces of individual homes, influencing how people use their residential space, modifying their living and working conditions. The purpose of this study was to research the changes in the use of residential space through questionnaires addressed to respondents in five age groups (up to 25, 26–35, 36–50, 51–65, and over 65), and living or studying in the Milan area (Lombardy)—an area affected severely by COVID-19 in the period March–May 2020. The obtained questionnaire results allowed the authors to create a set of guidelines for apartment design, intended to improve their spatial performance. The observations made when creating the case study projects led to two main conclusions: First, at the level of the house plan, the arrangement of the plan should be free and adaptable, al-lowing for fast alteration by the user. Second, the project should be tailor-made, highly specialized, and purposefully designed at the level of home office design, including appropriate furnishings, technical appliances, and lighting systems.

The issue of the visual attractiveness of interiors and their impact on the user is strongly emphasised in the professional preparation of real estate for sale or rental, known as home staging (IAHSP Europe, 2022). However, the issue is poorly researched scientifically. There is also a lack of a clear definition and scope of home staging activities. According to the Authors, the issue is important due to the marketing, economic and sales dimension in the design of architectural interiors. The following article is an overview. It is a summary of the current state of knowledge about the development of the concept of preparing real estate for sale in Poland and in the world. Its purpose is to define the author's definition of home staging based on bibliographic scientific, popular, industry sources and observations of the Polish market.

Zagadnienie atrakcyjności wizualnej wnętrz architektonicznych i ich domniemanego wpływu na cenę i szybkość sprzedaży nieruchomości jest powodem popularyzacji profesjonalnego przygotowania nieruchomości do sprzedaży bądź wynajmu, znanym pod nazwą home staging (IAHSP Europe, 2022). Tematyka jest słabo zbadany naukowo; równocześnie brakuje jednoznacznej definicji i zakresu działań home stagerów. Zdaniem Autorek temat jest istotny ze względu na wymiar marketingowy, ekonomiczny, sprzedażowy w projektowaniu wnętrz. Poniższa praca ma charakter przeglądowy, stanowi podsumowanie aktualnego stanu wiedzy o rozwoju koncepcji przygotowania nieruchomości do sprzedaży w Polsce i na świecie. Jego celem jest określenie autorskiej definicji home staging na podstawie źródeł bibliograficznych naukowych, popularnych, branżowych oraz obserwacji rynku polskiego.

Pandemia COVID-19 zmieniła sposób świadczenia opieki zdrowotnej na całym świecie i wpłynęła na placówki opieki zdrowotnej, zarówno szpitalne, jak i ambulatoryjne (podróże). Trudno w tej chwili powiedzieć, czy czeka nas kolejna fala zakażeń, czy też nowe infekcje, z którymi mamy obecnie do czynienia, będą występować sezonowo i corocznie. Ponad dwa lata po wprowadzeniu restrykcyjnych ograniczeń funkcjonowanie obiektów użyteczności publicznej częściowo wraca do stanu sprzed pandemii. Jednak jednostki medyczne, szpitale, przychodnie i apteki nadal utrzymują pełny reżim sanitarny, a ich funkcjonowanie jest nadal mocno ograniczone. Publikacja opisuje optymalne propozycje aranżacji wnętrz i architektury w celu zwiększenia bezpieczeństwa personelu i pacjentów w oparciu o doświadczenia największego szpitala akademickiego w północno-zachodniej Polsce.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way healthcare is delivered around the world and has impacted healthcare settings, both inpatient and outpatient (travel). It is hard to say at the moment whether we are facing the next wave of infections or the new infections that we are currently dealing with will occur seasonally and annually. More than two years after the introduction of restrictive restrictions, the functioning of public utilities is partially returning to the pre-pandemic state. However, medical units, hospitals, clinics and pharmacies still maintain a full sanitary regime, and their functioning is still severely limited. The publication describes the optimal proposals for interior design and architecture in order to increase the safety of staff and patients, based on the experience of the largest academic hospital in north-west Poland.

Artykuł mówi o projektowaniu mebli w procesie dydaktycznym w Katedrze Sztuk Pięknych i Projektowych na Wydziale Architektury Politechniki Śląskiej w Gliwicach. Studenci realizują projekty w nurcie tzw. projektowania odpowiedzialnego społecznie, wspartego umiejętnościami z zakresu praktycznego stosowania metodyki design thinking oraz praktycznymi umiejętnościami typologizacji i wykonywania dokumentacji technicznej mebli. Zadania manualne z drewnem dają praktyczną umiejętność pracy z materiałem oraz kształtują i rozwijają estetykę, a także umiejętność dostrzegania walorów materiału. Analizy projektu w zakresach formy i funkcji pozwalają na ugruntowanie myślenia analitycznego, wyciąganie wniosków, co w procesie projektowym jest niezbędne.

The article talks about furniture design in the teaching process at the Department of Fine Arts and Design at the Faculty of Architecture at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. Students implement projects in the designing socially responsible, supported by skills in the field of practical application of the design thinking methodology and practical skills to typologize and prepare technical documentation of furniture. Manual tasks with wood give you the practical ability to work with the material and shape and develop the aesthetics and the ability to perceive the values of the material. Project analyzes in terms of form and function allow you to consolidate analytical thinking, drawing conclusions what is necessary in the design process.

The popularization of multimedia technologies and their active implementation into the process of the object-spatial environment organization is a pressing issue in scientific researches in the field of interior design. It was defined that the application of multimedia technologies, such as sensory touch objects, are fundamental in the process of the creation of an interactive interior for public use. The paper is devoted to revelation of the compositional location techniques of the interactive sensory objects in the interiors of public buildings. The complex of theoretical methods of scientific research has contributed to the analysis of the design of interactive public interiors through the prism of formal composition. The results of the study revealed the compositional techniques for interactive multimedia objects placed in the interior. We conclude that the location of sensory objects in the interior more often carried out by the use of composite grids: a rectangular mesh scheme and a radial scheme. Interactive multimedia objects add an adaptability and attractiveness to the interior, which is an important factor in the formation of public space.

Proces kształcenia przyszłych architektów wnętrz w Wyższej Szkole Technicznej w Katowicach na kierunku Architektura Wnętrz oparty jest na tematach projektowych, które są realizowane w ramach współpracy naukowo-badawczej z podmiotami zewnętrznymi. W artykule zaprezentowano przykład współpracy pomiędzy Urzędem Miasta Łaziska Górne, a Pracownią Projektową przy współpracy studentek w ramach Ogólnopolskiego Konkursu pt. „Współczesna modernizacja wnętrz powiatowej i miejskiej biblioteki w Łaziskach Górnych”. Rozwiązanie projektowe dotyczyło opracowania wnętrz 5 kondygnacji budynku wraz z systemem komunikacji wizualnej. Wstępnie założono, że objęta projektem przestrzeń ma poprawić elastyczność przestrzeni, zgodnie z założeniami brytyjskiego architekta Harry Faulkner – Browna, twórcy kilkunastu budynków bibliotek. Współpraca zaowocowała przyznaniem III miejsca w konkursie dla zespołu projektowego w 2017 roku.

The process of education of future architects at the Faculty of Interior Design at the University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Applied Arts is based on real-life design projects. The article presents an example of the collaboration between the Łaziska Górne City Hall and the Design Studio represented by Kinga Palus in cooperation with students as part of the National Competition entitled „Contemporary modernization of the interiors of the district and city library in Łaziska Górne”. The design solution concerned the interior design of the 5-storey building with a visual communication system. It was initially assumed that the space covered by the project is to improve the flexibility of the space in accordance with the assumptions of the British architect Harry Faulkner – Brown’s, the creator of several library buildings. Autor artykułu przedstawia doniosłą rolę rysunku w sztukach wizualnych i architekturze w kontekście historycznym oraz współczesnym, specyfikę kształcenia przyszłych architektów i architektów wnętrz uwzględniającą zmiany powstałe przez rozwój nowych mediów oraz uwarunkowania edukacyjne mające wpływ na kształcenie. Artykuł z racji zainteresowań autora jest poświęcony przede wszystkim działaniom na płaskiej powierzchni, szczególnie rysunkowi i dążeniom do przekazania umiejętności przydatnych w tym zakresie, w uprawianiu zawodu architekta. Omawia także przykładowe ćwiczenia rysunkowe polegające na kreowaniu przestrzeni przez studentów. Wnioski z poruszenia powyższych problemów zostały zawarte w końcowym podsumowaniu.

The author of the article presents the important role of drawing in visual arts and architecture in the historical and contemporary context, the specificity of educating future architects and interior architects, taking into account the changes caused by the development of new media, and educational conditions influencing education. The article, due to the author's interests, is devoted primarily to activities in the field of drawing, in particular, and efforts to transfer skills useful in this area in practicing the profession of an architect. He also discusses exemplary exercises involving the creation of space by students in drawing exercises. Conclusions from the above-mentioned problems are included in the final summary.

The article discusses selected aspects of interior design in educational spaces intended for the youngest - children aged 3 to 6 years. Designing preschool interiors requires from the designer a multi-faceted analysis of the functional needs of various user groups. The article presents the use of the Functional Path Analysis in the context of interior design of a modular kindergarten, based on the examples made by students of the 3rd semester (first-cycle studies, Interior Design) as part of the theory and basics of interior design in service facilities at RA 2019-2020.

Przedmiotem artykułu jest wykazanie istotnej roli tożsamości miejsca będącej elementarnym czynnikiem wpływającym na indywidualizacje wnętrz obiektów hotelowych. Zagadnienie to omówiono na przykładach koncepcji studentów architektury wnętrz, w których powyższe kryterium odegrało znaczącą rolę w przebiegu pracy projektowej. W procesie dydaktycznym wyeksponowano wagę kryterium rozumienia przez przyszłych adeptów architektury wnętrz indywidualnych cech projektowanych obiektów i świadomego projektowania opierającego się na źródłach w tradycji, kulturze i historii, bezpośrednio oddziałującego na kształtowanie wnętrz - na przykładzie obiektów hotelowych funkcjonujących poza siecią obiektów o z góry założonych standardach projektowych. Analizowane prace studentów wpisane w aktualny język branżowy są w kontekście tożsamości miejsca wyraziste i mają zrozumiały przekaz projektowy.

The aim of the article is to demonstrate the importance of the place identity which is an elementary factor influencing the individualization of interiors of hotel facilities. The issue has been discussed basing on the examples of the ideas of the Interior Design students. The above criterion of the place identity played a significant role in the course of the project. In the didactic process the future Interior Designers were shown the importance of understanding the criterion of individual features of designed facilities. The conscious design based on the sources in tradition, culture and history having a direct impact on the interior design process was presented as well. Hotel facilities functioning outside the network of facilities with presupposed design standards served as an example. The analysis of the students projects has shown that they are in accordance with the current branch language, are clear in the context of the place identity and convey a clear message when it comes to understanding the aim of the project.

Temat eksperymentu przeprowadzonego z udziałem studentów Wydziału Architektury w ramach zajęć z przedmiotu rzeźba dotyczy autorskiego ćwiczenia dostosowania zmultiplikowanego naściennego modułu ceramicznego do funkcji użytkowo-wystawienniczej. Projekt opiera się na synergii multiplikowanych ceramicznych kształtek z kartką papieru i kształtowaniu obu elementów przestrzennie. Z założenia projekt ma pełnić określoną funkcję użytkowo-wystawienniczą, dedykowaną instytucjom publicznym, takim jak szkoły i przedszkola. Rozrzeźbione zmultiplikowane moduły tworzą spójny pod względem plastycznym system, a wyeksponowane w modularnej aranżacji kartki stanowią dopełnienie kompozycji. Myślą przewodnią eksperymentu było kreowanie formy plastycznej wraz z kształtowaniem własności użytkowych. Rozwiązanie to miałoby na celu również wizualne uatrakcyjnienie przestrzeni publicznej.

The subject of the experiment, carried out with the participation of Architecture Faculty students in Poznan as part of their sculpting course, concerns an authorial exercise of adjusting a multiplied ceramic wall-module to its utility and exhibitive function. The project is based on the synergy of multiplied ceramic shapes with sheets of paper and shaping both components spatially. By definition, the project is supposed to fulfil a specific exhibitive function intended for public institutions, like schools and kindergartens. The sculpted modules make up a system that is coherent in terms of plasticity, while the pieces of paper displayed in a modular arrangement complete the composition. The main idea of the experiment was to create an artistic form along with shaping its practical properties. This solution is also intended to make public spaces more appealing visually.

Projekt wnętrza kościoła filialnego w Przyłękach pw. Wniebowstąpienia Pańskiego inicjuje refleksję nad współczesnymi relacjami malarstwa i architektury. Projekt zakłada waloryzację przestrzeni sakralnej przez stworzenie kompleksowego projektu wnętrza z zastosowaniem malarstwa ściennego. Podąża on w kierunku wzmocnienia funkcji liturgicznych (użytkowych) oraz powiązania ich ze sferą ideowo-symboliczną obiektu. Celem jest badanie potencjału tradycyjnych metod i technik malarstwa ściennego w kontekście generatywnego projektowania cyfrowego, nowoczesnych technologii w procesie projektowania architektury. W okresie postmodernistycznej separacji architektury i sztuki jest potrzeba pogłębienia świadomości istoty wielowiekowej korelacji malarstwa i architektury, relacji przestrzeni w malowanym obrazie z przestrzenią architektoniczną, gdzie wspólną materią i polem oddziaływania jest ściana. W pracy zastosowano metodę emergencji do zaprojektowania wnętrza architektury i obiektów przestrzennych. Wykorzystano tradycyjne techniki artystyczne połączone z cyfrową wizualizacją.

The interior design of the filial church in Przyłęki, dedicated to the Ascension of the Lord, initiates reflection on contemporary relations of painting and architecture. The project assumes the valorisation of the church’s sacral space by creating a comprehensive interior design with the use of wall painting. It is heading towards strengthening liturgical (utilitarian) functions and linking it with the ideological and symbolic sphere of the object. The aim is to study the potential of traditional methods and techniques of wall painting in the context of generative digital design and modern technologies in the architecture design process. After the separation of architecture and art in the twentieth century, there is a need to deepen the awareness of the eternal correlation of painting and architecture, the relation of space in a painted image with architectural space, where the common matter and the sphere of influence is the wall. The method of emergence in the design of architecture and spatial objects was used in the work. The project used traditional art techniques in combination with digital visualization.

The Covid-19 pandemic has encouraged a shift to smart-working both for companies as well as their employees. Work-related activities once performed in dedicated offices had to be moved to private spaces of individual homes, severely influencing how people use their residential space. Living and working conditions have been modified and the balance between them – interrupted. In this paper the authors present a study of the changes in the use of residential space based on questionnaires addressed to respondents in five age groups (up to 25, 26-35, 36-50, 51-65, more than 65), and living or studying in and around Milan (Lombardy), an area affected severely by Covid-19 between March and May 2020. The obtained questionnaire results have allowed the authors to create a set of apartment design requirements, which improve the performance of space. Research has led to a model-case study apartment.

Pandemia Covid-19 zmusiła do przejścia w tryb pracy zdalnej rzesze pracowników. Czynności dotychczas wykonywane w przeznaczonych do tego biurach, zostały przeniesione do prywatnych przestrzeni indywidualnych domów, co wpłynęło na sposób, w jaki ludzie wykorzystują przestrzeń mieszkalną. Warunki życia i pracy uległy zmianie, a dotychczasowa równowaga między nimi – zaburzeniu. W niniejszej pracy autorzy przedstawiają badania zmian zachodzących w użytkowaniu przestrzeni mieszkalnej na podstawie ankiet skierowanych do respondentów w pięciu grupach wiekowych (do 25 lat, 26-35 lat, 36-50 lat, 51-65 lat, powyżej 65 lat), mieszkających lub uczących się w Mediolanie (Lombardia) i jego okolicach, na obszarach silnie dotkniętych przez Covid-19 w okresie od marca do maja 2020 roku. Uzyskane wyniki pozwoliły autorom na opracowanie zestawu wymogów dotyczących projektowania mieszkań, uwzględniając domową przestrzeń biurową. Badania doprowadziły do realizacji modelowego mieszkania.
