The paper presents the design of the integrated illumination and irrigation system using a PLC and its visualisation. In the introduction, the history of PLCs and the SCADA software was briefly described. It was followed by the presentation of the design intent, the description of its operation and components. The control algorithm created especially for this design, the programme for the selected controller and visualisation prepared in VijeoCitect software were also described. The last part of the paper contains the summary of the design and the trends for its development.

W artykule zaprezentowano system PLUS+1 jego możliwości oraz wybrane przykłady zastosowań. Obowiązujące coraz to ostrzejsze wymagania dotyczące zanieczyszczenia oraz rosnące wymagania użytkowników, co do funkcjonalności i niezawodności maszyn powodują, że od producentów wymaga się stosowania nowoczesnych elektronicznych układów sterujących przystosowanych do pracy w warunkach działania maszyn mobilnych.

The paper presents PLUS+1 system, its potential and selected application examples. The more and more demanding requirements related to contamination and growing demands of users as regards functionality and reliability of machines cause that manufacturers are requested to apply modern electronic control systems adapted to work under operation conditions of mobile machines.

Przedstawiona została koncepcja integracji systemu sterowania piecem próżniowym w zakresie programowania i monitorowania procesów, oparta na zastosowaniu interfejsu operatorskiego MMI (Mań Machinę Interface); omówiono przykładową aplikację interfejsu MMI i podstawowe zalety zintegrowanego systemu sterowania.
