Managing organizations means taking lots of decisions based on information contained mainly in the accounting books and financial statements. The processing of this information for decision-making purposes is the domain of management accounting, offering managers a number of decision-making tools described in this article to help overcome difficulties (threats), also known as crisis situations. From the presented management tools (security engineering tools) budgeting with attention to the creation of a budget in the enterprise (traditional budget and budget based on activity-based costing) and task-based budget in public finance sector units has been characterized. Both budgets were compared, taking into account common features. The comparison shows that budgeting based on activity-based costing and task-based budgeting are instruments combining goals with the tasks of the organization and the efficiency of using the resources available.

The management sciences, there are paradigms that determine a new look and change the basis for understanding reality. One of these circumstances is a network paradigm. The paper will be assessed whether risk management is a useful management tool in context network paradigm. In research we use bibliographic method and critical analysis of the literature.

The article is located in a management theory trend concentrated on the arrangement of management instruments as well as explaining to managers the usefulness of these instruments in solving problems of enterprises. A table is the key element of the article in which useful instruments in enterprises management, favourable for long-term development, were shown.

The study presents the chosen modern instruments of management (the conceptions, models, method, technique and tools) for aid decision processes. The weight of instruments of management to improving management was underlined in this refer. However for effective management, for good decision process and solving problems is necessary suitable choosing and utilization of instruments of management in time place and situation. Use of these technologies in frames of globalization process and corporate governance in companies creates the new challenges and new possibilities. The audit and control over companies by owners, shareholders and stakeholders is fuller, and the meeting, the votes can be to hold with electronic road also. The study contains also, the statistical counted relating data of saturation the computer technologies in the different societies and also the relating the corporate governance and codes of good practices data published in Internet.

Referat prezentuje wyniki badań empirycznych dotyczące doskonalenia procesów dystrybucji przez przedsiębiorstwa. Impulsy do zmian w procesach dystrybucji mają źródła zewnętrzne i wewnętrzne. Przedsiębiorstwa doskonaląc procesy dystrybucji stosują dwa rodzaje strategii (tj.: ciągłe doskonalenie procesu i przebudowa procesu) oraz wykorzystują różnorodne koncepcje i instrumenty zarządzania. Badania objęto więc sposób, celowość i częstotliwość dobru tych strategii, koncepcji i instrumentów zarządzania. Wyniki badań empirycznych pozwoliły na sformułowanie wniosków dotyczących skłonności i obszarów zmian w przedsiębiorstwach w obszarze procesów dystrybucji. Wskazane zmiany to odpowiedz przemysłu na coraz większą konkurencją na rynku dóbr i usług, coraz krótszym czasem Życia produktów i coraz szybsze tempo zmian innowacyjnych. W logistyce dystrybucji pojawiła się w konieczność uzyskania odpowiedzi na dwa zjawiska: narastającą komplikację i złożoność zadań oraz narastający nacisk na elastyczność przedsiębiorstwa.

The article presents the results of research into development od distribution processes. On the basis of the empirical research carried out, it can be argued that enterprises tend to develop distribution process. The impulses that lead to change have external and internal sources. Enterprises develop distribution processes using 2 types of strategies (continuous process development and process restructuring) and they use various management concepts and instruments.

W artykule zaprezentowano propozycję instrumentów planistycznych i zarządzania dla potrzeb łagodzenia zjawiska suszy. W ramach istniejących struktur instytucjonalnych zarządzania zasobami wodnymi zaproponowano powstanie zespołów odpowiedzialnych za planowanie w zakresie ochrony przed suszą na szczeblach krajowym, regionu wodnego i zlewni. Określono zakres planów oraz opisano specjalne narzędzia zarządzania pozwalające na ograniczenie skutków prognozowanej suszy.

The paper presents a proposal of planning and management tools for drought mitigation purposes. Author proposes creation of teams responsible for the drought response planning on national, regional and basin levels within the existing institutional structure of the water management. The range of plans and special management tools aimed at mitigation of effects of predicted drought are described.

Sustainable development on a local level means equal treatment of social, economic and ecological rights when choosing a path of development of a commune. Implementing the rules of sustainable development into concrete activities within a territory of a commune will make it possible to achieve the basic objective of the sustainable development, that is ensuring high living quality of the commune inhabitants at present and in future. The paper presents problems related to sustainable development implementation on a local level and characterizes management instruments, which may be used by commune authorities.

Przełożenie zasad zrównoważonego rozwoju na konkretne działania na terenie gminy pozwoli osiągnąć cel główny zrównoważonego rozwoju, jakim jest zapewnienie wysokiej jakości życia mieszkańców gminy obecnie i w przyszłości. W artykule przedstawiono problematykę wdrażania zrównoważonego rozwoju na poziomie lokalnym oraz scharakteryzowano instrumenty z zakresu zarządzania, które mogą być wykorzystywane przez władze samorządowe.
