Opracowano pasywny system wykrywania obiektów poruszających się na otwartej przestrzeni lub na przykład za ścianą budynku. Funkcjonowanie urządzenia jest oparte na monitorowaniu sytuacji elektromagnetycznej w chronionym obszarze i detekcji zmian w stosunku do obrazu zarejestrowanego w stanie ustalonym. Elementami obrazu sytuacji elektromagnetycznej jest amplituda i faza odbieranych sygnałów mikrofalowych. Opisano zasadę działania systemu oraz zaprezentowano wyniki eksperymentów przeprowadzonych w warunkach rzeczywistych.

The system of the passive detecting of the objects moving on the open space or hidden behind building wall has been worked out. This system monitors the electromagnetic conditions in the protected area and detects the changes in the scenery in the relation to the stationary status. The elements of the view of the electromagnetic conditions are amplitude and phase of the received microwave signals. Principles of the system operation, as well as the results of experiments performed in real conditions are given in the work.

Obrona aktywna pojazdu jest ważnym elementem działania w warunkach bojowych. Jej zadaniem jest wykrycie zagrożenia i podjęcie działań zmierzających do minimalizowania jego następstw. Istotnym ogniwem obrony aktywnej jest zespół sensorów wykrywających obiekty atakujące pojazd. W pracy przedstawiono koncepcję monoimpulsowego radaru pasywnego wykorzystującego układy natychmiastowego pomiaru fazy, natychmiastowego pomiaru częstotliwości i natychmiastowego pomiaru kąta nadejścia sygnału mikrofalowego. Opisany układ estymuje odległość do celu i kąt jego położenia. Odległość jest wyznaczana przy użyciu niezbędnej liczby korelatorów pracujących równolegle. Kąt położenia celu może być wyznaczany metodą fazową lub amplitudową. Przewiduje się, że użytkowa wersja radaru będzie wyposażona w dodatkowy nadajnik wykorzystywany w szczególnych warunkach.

The active protection of the vehicle is the important element of the operation in the battle conditions. Its task is detection of the threats and undertaking of workings aiming to minimalizing their after-effects. The group of sensors detecting the objects attacking the vehicle is the essential component of the active protection. The conception of the monopulse passive radar using the devices of the instantaneous phase measurement, instantaneous frequency measurement, and instantaneous angle of arrival measurement was presented in the work. The described apparatus estimates the distance to the target and the angle of its position. The distance is pointed out by the using of the necessary number of correlators working simultaneously. The angle of the target position can be determined by means of the phase or the amplitude method. It is anticipated that the usable version of radar will be equipped with the additional transmitter used in special conditions.
