W artykule omówiono metody obliczeń strat ciśnienia w instalacjach pyłowych kotłów. Na podstawie badań eksperymentalnych zweryfikowano zależności do obliczeń liczb tarcia w rurach prostych oraz wyznaczono lokalne liczby oporu wybranych kolan. Dokonano porównania różnych metod obliczeń z wynikami doświadczeń.

The first part of the work presents three methods which are currently in common use for calculations of the pressure drop in pulverized coal supplying system of boilers. The differences between them have been emphasized. In order to evaluate these method, investigations on the test stand been carried out. The pulverized hard coal from the ring-ball mill was transported through the piping containing two tubes (vertical and horizontal) and one elbow element between them. Hot flue gas strongly diluted with air was used as the carrying medium. The concentration of coal (medium particle size 0,04 to 0,05 mm) was varied from 0,3 up to 0,7 kg/kg. Results of investigations have been worked out in the form of correlations between friction and local resistance factors and solid phase concentration. The comparison between calculation and investigation results shows that the best correspondence with the experiments has a method presented in VDI Warmeatlas.
