The Fusarium fungi species isolated from the soil treated with the Roundup were tested for glyphosate utilization. The tested strains of Fusarium are adapted to different glyphosate concentrations, but are not able to utilize the glyphosate as the sole source of phosphorus. The survival of this fungus in the soil creates a potential menace for agriculture. It suggests using Roundup with the fungicide.
