In this study, from the perspective of Hanfu elements, the evolution and innovative design of cloud shoulder adornments in the Ming and Qing dynasties were systematically examined. Through methods such as literature research, data collection, and practical research, the origins, development, and their association with the historical and cultural context were revealed. The study found that the cloud shoulder adornments in the Ming and Qing dynasties underwent a process of evolution from simplicity to complexity and from uniformity to diversity in terms of design and patterns. These changes reflected the shifting aesthetic concepts of the time and the pursuit of clothing aesthetics, enriching the design elements and aesthetic connotations of cloud shoulder adornments. The findings of this research provide inspiration for modern designers to create Hanfu works with distinctive characteristics and individuality. The significance of this study lies in uncovering the evolutionary process and design features of cloud shoulder adornments in the Ming and Qing dynasties, offering important references and inspirations for related research and creative endeavors. By integrating traditional elements with modern design concepts, we can promote the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional culture, as well as the dissemination and application of Hanfu in contemporary times. This holds positive implications for the revival of Hanfu culture and the preservation of traditional heritage.

This study analyses trademarks of the textile industry issued between 1912–1949 in the Republic of China, revealing the trademarks’ art features and hidden messages. The trademarks’ images and information folders were critically examined within their historical context. The work, by analysing the themes and patterns of the trademarks, revealed that the people-oriented conception, humanistic spirit, nationalist sentiment and the multiple connotations of era development were behind the trademarks, which answers questions about the social connotations of textile trademarks of the Republic of China and also gives us some guidance to understand how to use these connotations for innovation trademark design to inherit better traditional culture in the future.

Content available remote Sources of Innovative UAV Design
EN
In this paper general problems of new concepts design in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) field are described. A successful UAV designer needs not only a good understanding of design rules and practical skills, but also knows innovative approach. The design of a UAV begins with specify the mission and requirements definition. Next conceptual, preliminary and detail stages of design, design synthesis and evaluation, and finally in-loop validation, usually using CAE tools, are carried out. In many cases the design of UAV faces new challenges as a result of a new requirements.

Content available remote Hierarchical layout hypergraph operations and diagrammatic reasoning
EN
This paper deals with a new, computer-aided approach to floor-layout design. The approach proposes: firstly, a specific layout language with a syntactic knowledge defined by means of hierarchical hypergraphs; secondly, a correspondence between layout modifications and hypergraph operations. An initial layout drawn by the designer is automatically converted into a hypergraph and each designer's modification to the layout is reflected in the hypergraph structure. Our new approach is illustrated by a step by step example, where two complementary representations of the same floor-layout design are used.

The paper psoposes application of the combinational sequencing theory, namely the concept of Ideal Ring Bundles (IRBs), for design of high performance engineering devices or systems with non-uniform structure based on diagrammatics approach. An ordinary IRB is a ring-like sequence of positive integers which form perfect partitions of a finite interval [1,S] of integers. The sums of connected sub- sequences of an IRB enumerate the set of integers [1, S] exactly once. This property makes IRBs useful in applications which need to partition sets with the smallest possible number if intersections. Appication of the idea of "perfect" combinational configurations for innovative design provides a better understanding of the role of a geometric structure in behavior of natural and man- made objects. It also helps configure systems with fewer elements and bonds than at present, while maintaining or improving on reliability, precision, resolving ability, and functionality, using combinatoral techniques based on the remarkable properties and structural perfection of one- and multidimensional IRBs. The objectives of the IRB concept are: development of a scientific basis for technologically optimum distributed systems theory using diagrammatic, generalization of these methods and results to the improvement and optimization of a larger class of thechnological systems, and development of new directions in fundamental and applied researcg in systems engineering based on diagrammatics for designing a wholr range of high-performance devices, systems or technologies, including applications to coded design of signals for communications and radar, positioning of elemnets in an antenna array, and other areas to which the IRB concept can be applied.
