The influence of welding deformation types of hybrid node on assembly suitability

The article presents welding deformation types identified in a hybrid node. The hybrid node is a new structure element. Its implementation requires solving many problems, especially those related to the technology. The most important problems in this field are welding deformations arising at the prefabrication stage of a node fabrication. Welding deformations influence the quality of prefabricated section and cause an in¬crease of manufacturing costs. Therefore, a definition of influence of each deformation type on assembly suitability is a significant problem. The expert method presented in the article makes it possible to define this influence.

W artykule przedstawiono podstawowe typy innowacyjnych elementów konstrukcyjnych, zwanych panelami sandwich. Pokazano możliwości zastosowań paneli w wielkogabarytowych sekcjach stalowych. Konstrukcja hybrydowa, która powstaje w wyniku łączenia struktury konwencjonalnej z innowacyjną, stwarza konieczność rozwiązania szeregu problemów, zwłaszcza natury technologicznej. Do najistotniejszych problemów z tej dziedziny należy łączenie, zarówno paneli między sobą, jak również z konstrukcją konwencjonalną. W artykule dokonano charakterystyki problemu łączenia w kontekście technologicznym.

The underlying article presents fundamental types of innovative structural elements, called sandwich panels. It reveals possibilities of using panels in large-size steel sections. The hybrid construction, which emerges as a result of joining conventional structure with innovative, creates the necessity of solving several problems, especially of technological nature. The most important problems in this field are joining panel to panel and panel with conventional construction. The article performed a characteristic of joining problem in technological point of view.
