Purpose: The purpose of the work is to present the research results conducted among managers the largest companies in the world and in Poland provided by KPMG Report from 2021. Design/methodology/approach: Due to the cognitive nature of the work, the aim of the work will be achieved using the method of analyzing the literature and KPMG research results on the subject. Literature studies include Polish and foreign publications. Findings: Innovative technology, human capital and company’s mission is very widely described in international literature. Many reports have been created and the most updated brings new CEO’s outlook on management issues. Top managers and employees with technology are creating a mission of every firm. Originality/value: The analysis either literature and reports with 2021 statistics presents all areas where CEO’s during this pandemic world need to improve and develop old and new solutions. The data base presented in the world is most updated data developed in the work and science market.

Zrównoważony rozwój logistyki w branży spożywczej wymaga zaimplementowania technologii Przemysłu 4.0. Technologie te przyczynią się do poprawy wydajności z utrzymaniem wysokiej jakości i bezpieczeństwa żywności. Optymalizacja procesów logistycznych dzięki systemom cyber-fizycznym to również redukcja kosztów, zwłaszcza procesów transportowych, ograniczenie marnotrawstwa żywności, elastyczna produkcja z oszczędnym gospodarowaniem zasobami, zmniejszenie emisji dwutlenku węgla. Zielona i zrównoważona logistyka wykorzystująca innowacyjne technologie powinna być podstawowym elementem gospodarki o obiegu zamkniętym. W pracy przedstawiono przykładowe technologie umożliwiające osiągnięcie zrównoważonej i zielonej logistyki w branży spożywczej.

Sustainable development of logistics in the food industry requires the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies. These technologies will help improve efficiency with the maintenance of high quality and food safety. Optimizing logistics processes with cyber- physical systems also means reducing costs, especially transportation processes, reducing food waste, flexible production with resource efficiency, reducing carbon emissions. Green and sustainable logistics using innovative technologies should be a fundamental component of a closed-loop economy. This article presents examples of technologies to achieve sustainable and green logistics in the food industry.

W społeczeństwie opartym na wiedzy innowacyjne technologie, towary i usługi stały się podstawą efektywnego rozwoju. Innowacyjne jest nie tylko odkrycie nowego leku, lecz także opracowanie nowej technologii jego wytwarzania. Stworzenie nowej wiedzy technologicznej jest obecnie wymagane również od producenta leku generycznego. Generowanie innowacji w światowych firmach farmaceutycznych jest procesem ewolucyjnym. Po trzech dekadach i wielu różnych strategiach stymulowania innowacji, powraca się obecnie do tradycyjnego podziału na etap odkrycia dokonany na uczelni i etap jego wykorzystania w firmie farmaceutycznej. Przedstawione w pracy przykłady, wybrane z doświadczeń Instytutu Farmaceutycznego w Warszawie, ilustrują różnego rodzaju innowacje, jakie mogą być dokonane w technologii syntezy leku generycznego.

Development and competitiveness of economy depends on its capability for introducing innovation technologies. Interest in innovation is constantly growing, especially in the use of computer Information Technologies (IT), which create new possibilities in economy and new branches called e-business also. Thanks to the co-operation of science and technology the high technology branches are characterised by a high level of innovation and ensure measurable effects for economy. In this paper measures of competitiveness and of the development of economy are presented with regard to the level of high technology In external turnover in Poland and in EU countries. Companies of the Segment of Innovation Technology SiTech at capital market in Poland are also presented.
