Injected part deformations, their shape and dimension accuracy depend on many factors including plastic parts geometry, injection mould design, injection process technology parameters and a type of material. The paper presents selection of aforementioned dependencies. Additionally, the numerical simulation of plastic part injection process was described and illustrated with the MCAD UGS Solid Edge Vi 7 and CAE Moldflow Plastic Advisers 7.0 software.
