Obliczenia wykonano zgodnie z obowiązującymi normami PN-EN.

Steel frames are one of the most popular types of structures used in single-storey buildings. In this kind of structures, bolted endplate connections are very often used as a beam-to-column, beam-to-beam and column-to-foundation connections. Usually, in the global analysis of single-storey steel frames, these kinds of joints are considered as rigid joints. In fact, such connections are semi-rigid and their behaviour has infl uence on the value of internal forces, size of the cross-sections of beams and columns and horizontal displacements of the structure. These facts have been taken into consideration in European codes: EN 1993-1-1 and EN 1993-1-8, which recommend to calculate the internal forces taking into account the flexibility parameters of joints.
