We continue the analysis of the notion of information in a two-stage decision process. In the previous work and in the present one, when examining specific concepts and types of information, we achieve a better understanding of mathematical contents of the notion. Only elementary set-theoretical tools are used. All the formalism previously introduced is largely used here; it is shortly recalled here. We try to formally approach several concepts: uncertainty, measurement and prediction, often applied in decision-making theory. Then, after introducing the notion of independent information, we attempt to formulate a precise definition of what we understand as decision making problem.
