The article deals of assessing the competitiveness of enterprises in the confectionery industry to improve information and analytical support of ecological management. A unified methodology for assessing the competitive-ness of business entities in the context of ecological management has not yet been developed. The article proposes to assess the competitiveness of confectionery enterprises on the basis of an integral index. Its peculiarity is that, in addition to economic production, market characteristics, it also includes environmental ones, which reflect significant environmental aspects (air emissions and the formation of hazardous waste). Calculations were made and the results of the study were tested on the basis of the leading confectionery enterprises of Ukraine. This made it possible to identify among the studied set of enterprises leaders who improved economic results and strengthened their market positions by reducing anthropogenic impact on the environment, introducing ecological management and corporate social responsibility. Taking into account their successful experience will contrib-ute to the improvement of the ecological management system at other enterprises of the confectionery industry.

Purpose: Studying urgent problems in the OSH management field in the in European countries to create effective information and analytical support for the OSH management system. Design/methodology/approach: An analytical review of open sources, a comparative analysis of the legislative framework of different countries and logical conclusions based on existing opportunities at the current stage of development of the country were used to study current problems in the field of labour protection management and find ways to create effective information and analytical support. Improved IS "Vizit" was tested for 2018-2019: to identify undeclared labour, the dynamics of various types of labour violations has been studied; to predict the load of inspectors, the quarterly dynamics of inspection actions was studied; the accumulated statistics were processed using multiple regressions; for 22 enterprises, employees of all levels were remotely trained in labour protection issues. Findings: Information and analytical support for the OSH management system has been developed. On the basis of indirect signs it allows to identify undeclared work cases, to predict the labour inspectors’ inspection activities by quarters, to provide effective distance learning of enterprise employees and labour inspectors. The distance learning system for labour protection was tested at 22 enterprises: the head of the enterprise, the heads of departments and employees of the enterprise passed the training. Since 2018 (start to use of this information and analytical support), the dynamics of inspection actions and various types of labour violations have been monitored. Research limitations/implications: Information and analytical support was tested on the example of Ukrainian labour legislation. However, it can be adapted to the legislation of another country. Practical implications: The proposed information and analytical support using indirect evidences provides an opportunity to identify undeclared work and that significantly reduces the inspection visits number in order to monitor and detect violations of the law; makes it possible to predict the inspection activities and the workload of labour inspectors; contributes to the organizations managers and employees’ effective training, and the inspectors training remotely (and therefore is less costly). Originality/value: A non-standard approach to the identification of undeclared work on indirect grounds using information and analytical support for the OSH management system is proposed.

The role of branch information retrieval thesaurus for improving and increasing the effectiveness of information support of scientific research, carried out using the technology of selective dissemination of information, is analyzed in the paper. The selective dissemination system provides both individual and group information needs, as subscribers can be individual users as well as a group of users, namely scientific teams and virtual scientific teams whose members can be geographically distributed. Within the scientific team, subgroups can be formed engaged in research of different directions of their subject area. The information retrieval thesaurus is considered as a language model of a particular subject area. The development of information technologies creates the possibility of information modeling of a narrowly specialized subject area and data presentation in the form of thesaurus, which is a hypertext that reflects the hierarchically organized semantic structure of a specific subject area.

The article identifies and systematizes the threats to the country’s information security and proposes the main directions of counteracting them.

Artykuł identyfikuje i systematyzuje zagrożenia dla bezpieczeństwa informacji w skali narodowej i proponuje główne kierunki przeciwdziałania zagrożeniom.

To provide necessary quality of electric energy and reliable supply and reduce environmental contamination as a result of energy units operation, renewable sources of energy (RSE), in particular solar electric stations (SES), wind electric stations (WES) and small hydropower stations (SHES) are intensively developed. The paper considers the conditions of optimality of renewable sources of energy (RSE) functioning in electric systems, controllability of which is limited by the impact of non-stable weather conditions. The influence of control system information support on the efficiency of RSE usage is shown.

In the context of Polish Air Defence (AD) Information needs, as well as aims, functions and tasks assigned to Information systems, the article proves that the Air Force (AF) radiolocation reconnaissance sub-system is a key element conducting Polish Air Defence information support tasks. Polish AD is presented as a system where the processes of information acquiring, processing and distribution about aerial objects and undertakings preventing aerial strikes cause that there appear and function numerous information couplings between its elements. The technological development of aerial vehicles, computerised AF commanding and air reconnaissance processes necessitate the need to have specialized bodies in this area. These bodies, modernized due to technological progress and contemporary battlefield requirements, also need coordination of their operation. Consequently, the evolutionary development has resulted in the creation of AF radiolocation reconnaissance sub-system linked with other elements of Polish modern AD and NATO Air Defence Information couplings. The AF radiolocation reconnaissance sub-system, having various assets to carry out the tasks of acquiring, processing and distributing Information about aerial objects, was presented as an element performing a basic role in conducting Polish Air Defence Information support tasks.

W pracy przedstawiono metody pomiarów wybranych parametrów ruchu kół napędowych ciągnika rolniczego oraz opracowania wyników ze wspomaganiem informatycznym. W skład prezentowanego systemu pomiarowego wchodzą: tuleja pomiarowa z czujnikami tensometrycznymi, komputer pokładowy LH 100 i mierniki wielkości mechanicznych. System umożliwia dokonanie pomiarów siły uciągu, momentu obrotowego, obciążenia normalnego koła, poślizgu, prędkości postępowej oraz kąta obrotu koła i ich rejestrowanie w komputerze przenośnym. System pomiarowy został zastosowany praktycznie do badań parametrów ruchu kół napędowych ciągnika Zetor 5211 na glebie spulchnionej.

In this work the methods and apparatuses for the measure of the selected wheel motion parameters and for the elaboration of the investigation results using information techniques were presented. This system consists in the neck bush with the tensometers, board computer LH 100 and the analogue-digital meters of the mechanical values of the wheel. This apparatus measures the following wheel parameters: drawbar-pull force, torque moment, dynamic normal load, slip, forward velocity and angle of the tyre rotation. The numerous investigation results are recorded in the laptop and are elaborated using various computer programs. This measure system was used in the investigation of the driving wheel of the tractor Zetor 5211 on the cultivated soil.
