W artykule odniesiono się do aktualnie obowiązujących dokumentów normatywnych regulujących proces pozyskiwania sprzętu wojskowego i usług dla Sił Zbrojnych Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej (SZ RP). Omówiono stan prac nad opracowaniem Uniwersalnej Modułowej Platformy Gąsienicowej (UMPG) jako podwozia bazowego. Zaprezentowano możliwości realizacji przez przemysł krajowy UMPG, bazującej na wynikach i wnioskach dotychczas zrealizowanych projektów. Przedstawiono możliwe do realizacji odmiany gąsienicowych pojazdów lądowych o różnym przeznaczeniu wykorzystujące UMPG jako podwozie bazowe.

Reference is made in the article to the current normative documents regulating the process of acquiring military equipment and services for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland (AF RP). The progress of work on developing a Universal Modular Tracked Platform (UMPG) as base chassis is discussed. The feasibility of manufacture of UMPG by the Polish industry is presented based on the results of completed projects and conclusions drawn therefrom. The various variants of tracked land vehicles of various application using UMPG as the base chassis are presented.

W II połowie XX wieku broń pancerna na całym świecie dynamicznie się rozwijała. Jednym z jej elementów były transportery opancerzone i bojowe wozy piechoty. W artykule zdefiniowano, a następnie opisano kołowe, półgąsienicowe i gąsienicowe transportery opancerzone oraz bojowe wozy piechoty, które znalazły się na wyposażeniu Ludowego Wojska Polskiego w latach 1943-1989. Większość scharakteryzowanych w artykule transporterów opancerzonych i bojowych wozów piechoty (w tym te z pomocy Lend and Lease) były przekazywane Ludowemu Wojsku Polskiemu przez naszego „wielkiego brata” - Związek Radziecki. Pozostałe (SKOT, TOPAS, BPzV) były pozyskane lub produkowane we współpracy z bratnią Czechosłowacją. Część z zaprezentowanych pojazdów, na licencji, była produkowana w Polsce i doczekała się wielu polskich przeróbek i modernizacji. Stanowią one zatem ważny element rozwoju polskiej myśli technicznej, w tym zwłaszcza techniki wojskowej. Obecnie egzemplarze tych pojazdów znajdują się na wystawach w polskich muzeach prezentujących militaria i dzieje polskiej powojennej motoryzacji. Inne trafiły w ręce prywatnych kolekcjonerów i biorą udział w wielu zlotach i zjazdach miłośników wojskowości.

In the second half of the twentieth century armoured weapon developed rapidly all over the world. One of its elements were armored personnel carriers and infantry combat vehicles. The article defines and describes the wheel, half-track and tracked armored personnel carriers and infantry combat vehicles with which Polish People's Army was equipped in the years 1943-1989. Most characterized in the article, armored personnel carriers and infantry combat vehicles (including those from Lend &Lease) were transferred to the People's Army of Poland by our “big brother" - the Soviet Union. Other (SKOT, TOPAS, BPzV) were obtained or produced in cooperation with the fraternal Czechoslovakia. Some of them were manufactured under license in Poland and had incorporated many Polish alterations and modernizations. They are therefore an important part of the development of the Polish technical thinking, especially military technology. Currently, some of these vehicles are on show in the Polish museums presenting military equipments and the history of post-war Polish automotive industry. Others found their way into the hands of private collectors and take part in many rallies and gatherings of military enthusiasts.

W artykule dokonano przeglądu kierunków rozwoju bojowych wozów piechoty (BWP) na przykładzie aktualnie realizowanych światowych programów badawczych/rozwojowych oraz przedstawiono charakterystyczne cechy konstrukcyjne wozów, w tym modułowość w budowie platform. W dalszej części przedstawiono propozycję BWP na bazie Uniwersalnej Modułowej Platformy Gąsienicowej (BWP na bazie UMPG) opracowaną w OBRUM sp. z o.o. Dodatkowo w tablicach zestawiono charakterystyki aktualnie eksploatowanych BWP z podziałem na wozy pływające i niepływające.

The paper reviews trends in the development of infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs) by presenting examples of current research/development programmes implemented in the world and lists the design features of these vehicles, including the modularity of vehicle platform design. An IFV is proposed based on the Universal Modular Tracked Platform (IFV based on UMPG) developed at OBRUM. Tables are provided listing the specifications of currently used IFVs, broken up into amphibious and non-amphibious vehicles.

W artykule przedstawiono „OBRUM” sp. z o.o. jako wiodące centrum badawczo-rozwojowe mogące być liderem w opracowaniu nowej rodziny pojazdów gąsienicowych będących elementem polskiego programu pancernego. Omówiono kompetencje Ośrodka w projektowaniu i integracji modułowych pojazdów gąsienicowych. Dokonano także wstępnej analizy możliwości produkcji modułowej platformy gąsienicowej (akronim MPG) przez przemysł polski z uwzględnieniem wiodącej roli spółek Grupy Bumar. Ponadto syntetycznie przedstawiono korzyści wynikające z krajowej produkcji platformy.

The article presents "OBRUM" sp o.o. as a leading research and development center that can be a leader in the development of a new family of tracked vehicles that are part of the Polish armored program. Capabilities of the Centre in the design and integration of modular tracked vehicles are discussed. Article also illustrates preliminary analysis of the modular tracked platform production (acronym MPG) by Polish industry with leading role of Bumar Group. Moreover, the benefits of domestic production of the platform are presented in synthetic form.

W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję nowej rodziny pojazdów gąsienicowych budowanych na modułowym podwoziu gąsienicowym ANDERS. Omówiona została geneza opracowania - powstania modułowej platformy gąsienicowej jako podwozia bazowego. Zaprezentowano możliwe do realizacji wersje – odmiany gąsienicowych pojazdów lądowych o różnym przeznaczeniu zbudowane na modułowej platformie gąsienicowej.

The article presents the concept of a new family of tracked vehicles built on a modular tracked chassis Anders. The genesis of the thesis is being discussed – development of modular tracked platform as base chassis. Feasible versions are presented – different versions of tracked land vehicles for different purposes based on a modular tracked platform.

In the field of threads to tracked combat vehicle on these days battle field growing importance of wide range of mines. It concern both anti- tank mines - anti-bottom, anti-track, anti-side- as well as specially prepared explosives. In the paper were presented chosen fragment of carried out experimental tests of tank exposed to impact, caused by anti-bottom mine explosion, as well as results of that effect. Methodology how to build models of tested objects was presented. Models of objects that characteristics are similar to typical combat vehicles were tested and test results were linked to publish date and authors test results, then models were loaded. As a load was applied worked out and experimentally verified model of after blast wave propagation, generated by anti-bottom mine explosion, as result of after blast wave propagated in limited space. Conclusions contain information about abilities of presented test methodology. Obtained results of model testing confirm necessity and the possibility of shaping impact strength of armoured vehicles structures. Proper selection of shapes, geometric dimensions and general parameters of structural system may be one of the means to provide proper protection.

W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań modelowych bojowego wozu piechoty. Model pojazdu oraz modele częściowe opracowano w oparciu o metodę elementów skończonych. Analizę wytężenia struktury pojazdu realizowano wykorzystując modele częściowe. Wykazano, że do analizy zagadnień dynamiki konstrukcji można dobrać taki model częściowy, który wystarczająco dokładnie odwzorowuje zachowanie modelu pełnego.

The paper presents some results of model investigation of a combat vehicle model. The vehicle model of and its partial model were developed on the basis of finite elements method. Stress analysis of a supporting structure of vehicle was performed using partial models. It was proved, that partial models are useful for dynamic analysis. Comparisons of the results for a complete combat vehicle and a partial model of its construction are executed as well.

Przedstawiono przyjętą metodykę oceny jakości bojowej oraz uzykane rezultaty obliczeń.

In the paper were described main characteristics (firepower, mobility, as well as armour and protection) of contemporary armoured personal carriers in aspect of estimation their battle guality especially BWP-1 as land forces main mean of fighting. Was presented adopted methodology of battle quality estimation and obtained calculations results.
