Konsolidacja sektora wytwarzania energii elektrycznej w Polsce: wyniki analizy wskaźnikowej

Sektor wytwarzania energii elektrycznej przechodził w ostatnich latach istotne zmiany o charakterze konsolidacyjnym. Wpłynęły one w znacznym stopniu na strukturę rynku wytwórców energii elektrycznej. Celem artykułu było zaprezentowanie wyników analizy wskaźnikowej w zakresie wpływu przekształceń konsolidacyjnych na strukturę polskiego sektora wytwarzania energii elektrycznej. Zastosowano metodykę opartą na wskaźnikach koncentracji, wskaźniku Herfindahla-Hirschmana (HHI), wskaźniku Giniego, analizie SMA (Supply Marginal Assessment) i RSI (Residual Supply Index) oraz indeksie Lernera. Badaniami objęto lata 2003–2008.

The power generation sector has undergone significant consolidation in the recent years. As a result the structure of the Polish power generation market changed substantially. The aim of this paper was to carry out an index-based analysis of the impact of consolidation process on the structure of the Polish electricity market. The following indexes were analysed within this study: concentration ratios (for the largest and the three largest suppliers), the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index, the Gini Coefficient, the SupplyMarginal Assessment (SMA), the Residual Supply Index (RSI) and the Lerner Index. The analysis covers the period 2003–2008.
