The paper deals with a problem of numerical simulation for generation and improvement of inverse diagnostic models. A new, original adaptation method of the simulation for optimization of quality of inverse models is described. The considered object is a two-support rotor object is a two-support rotor kit with two journal bearings. The rotor is a part of stand which main element is RotorKit of Bently Nevada Co. numerical model for rotors was developed in the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery of Polish Academy of Science. For realization of adaptation method of the simulation a system was designed and developed (the system operates in real-life conditions using Internet to transfer the data between numerical model and the considered system). The presented method was applied for data set of examples obtained from simulation and measurements carried on the object. The investigated inverse models had to estimate unbalance distribution of the rotor on the selected disks (values of unbalances and phases of unbalances on two considered disks). Inputs for these models were features of the signals of displacement of vibrations measured near bearings. The presented analysis of the results of the object indicates that the approach was sound and justifield.
