In the following paper is presented the most important problem with improvement of basic and additional processes in the company. As the case study was used the metallurgical company ArcelorMittal Poland SA. This metallurgical company is the leader on Polish steel market, by maximum crude steel production capacities the company has 67% of the market. Actual market situation (recess) caused that the company had changed the strategy. New strategy is base on reduction of costs (cutting down expenses) and realization of process improvement. In the paper both the key company's actions were characterized and realized savings.
