Content available remote A general fixed point theorem for weakly subsequentially continuous mappings

In this paper a general fixed point theorem for two pairs of subsequentially mappings compatible of type E is proved, which generalize the results by [2]-[4], [6] and other results. As applications, new results for mappings satisfying contractive conditions of integral type, φ-contractive conditions and weak contractive conditions are obtained.

In this paper a new type of common limit range property is introduced, which generalizes the notion of strongly tangential property [9] and joint common limit range property [16]. A general fixed point theorem for two pairs of hybrid mappings involving altering distance and satisfying an implicit relation is proved, generalizing the results from [9], [16] and other papers. As application, we obtain new results for contractive mappings satisfying a contractive condition of integral type, for mappings satisfying ф - contractive conditions and satisfying (ψ, ф) - contractive conditions.

In this paper the notion of common coincidence range property is introduced and a general coincidence and fixed point theorem is proved. As applications, new results for mappings satisfying a contractive condition of integral type and for mappings satisfying a φ-contractive condition are obtained.

The purpose of this paper is to prove a general fixed point theorem for a pair of multi-valued mappings satisfying a new type of implicit relation in partial metric spaces, which generalizes Theorem 2.2 [4], Theorem 3.1 [3], Theorem 3.2 [7], Corollary 2.3 [4], Theorem 2.8 [16] and obtain other particular results.

In this paper, we obtain some new fixed point theorems in generalized metric spaces for maps satisfying an implicit relation. The obtained results unify, generalize, enrich, complement and extend a multitude of related fixed point theorems from metric spaces to generalized metric spaces.

A generalized metric space has been defined by Branciari as a metric space in which the triangle inequality is replaced by a more general inequality. Subsequently, some classical metric fixed point theorems have been transferred to such a space. In this paper, we continue in this direction and prove a version of Fisher’s fixed point theorem in generalized metric spaces.
