The Automation of Office Work finds extensive application in enterprise management and support areas, including finance, sales and customer service, accounting, warehouse operations, logistics, and more. However, implementing automation is not solely about improving efficiency or enhancing working conditions. Many enterprises encounter challenges related to investment and start-up costs, ongoing automation management expenses, and opportunity costs such as changes in employee behaviour and their approach to work. The aim of this article is to identify and assess the key challenges that enterprises may face when implementing Automation of Office Work. Design/methodology/approach: To achieve the aim, survey research was conducted in the first quarter of 2024 with a sample of 109 enterprises. A statistical analysis of the collected data was performed using Statistica software.
