This article presents the results of laboratory tests on samples of aramid- synthetic ester Midel insulation using the method of PDC (Polarization and Depolarization Current). Furthermore, a methodology of preparing samples with varying degrees of moisture and the analysis of the results of measurements on the basis of family characteristics determined on measurements of depolarization current.

Głównym tematem prezentowanej pracy jest przedstawienie wyników prac konstrukcyjnych i badawczo-wdrożeniowych dotyczących zastosowania pomiarów przebijalności w badaniach płyt sidingowych wykonanych z poli(chlorku winylu). Zaprezentowana w artykule aparatura pomiarowa została skonstruowana i wykonana w celu odzwierciedlenia warunków prowadzenia testu przebijalności, jednak zastosowane rozwiązania w formie napędu sprężynowego oraz zmniejszenie rozmiarów zewnętrznych pierwowzoru, miały na celu miniaturyzację urządzenia w celu jego zastosowania jako przenośny aparat pomiarowy. W celu weryfikacja sprawności i powtarzalności działania urządzenia przeprowadzono szereg testów porównawczych, których celem było sprawdzenie poprawności działania zaproponowanej konstrukcji.

The main theme of this work is to present the results of the design and implementation research on the use of measurement in research of the impact resistance of siding plates made of poly(vinyl chloride). The presented measuring apparatus has been designed and constructed to reflect the conditions of Gardner drop test, but the solutions in the form of the drive spring and reduced size of the prototype, aimed at miniaturization of the device for its use as a portable measuring apparatus. In order to verify the efficiency and reproducibility of the device, a number of comparative tests was performed, the aim was to check the correct operation of the proposed construction.
