In the article the working principle of a three- pads sliding bearing with supporting pads on a hydrostatic lift was described. The bearings advantages of this type are shown. The different designs of journal bearings of the"TRIZ" firm's production for various working conditions are presented.

Przedstawiono i omówiono zagadnienia środka wyporu hydrostatycznego filmu olejowego i stateczność wychylnej płyty panwiowej w łożysku nośnym hydrogeneratora z zastosowaniem zmodernizowanego sposobu hydrostatycznego smarowania, mającego na celu zwiększenie skuteczności hydrodynamicznego smarowania. Przedstawiono sposób wykonania badań i ich wyniki, porównano wyniki badań płyt z jednym i z dwoma wgłębieniami smarującymi.

Presented and discussed are problems of the centre of the hydrostatic lift of the oil film and stability of the swinging plate in the hydrogenerator thrust bearing with the use of the modernised manner of the hydrostatic lubrication aimed for an increase of the hydrodynamic lubrication efficiency. Presented is the way of working out the tests and their results, compared are the test results of the plates with one or two lubricating cavities.
