It is shown that the formation of an uneven rate of the pipeline valves control provides the minimum control time and the change of dynamic loads in the pipeline network within acceptable limits. The method for the determination of the electric motor power and the reduction rate of the reducer of the pipeline valves variable-frequency electric drive is proposed. This method takes into account the nonlinear dependences of the hydraulic and mechanical characteristics, the condition of the exclusion of overload at the torque and overheating of the stopcock induction motor.

Zaproponowano metodę określania mocy napędu elektrycznego i redukcji szybkości w zaworze potokowym w przypadku napędu o zmiennej częstotliwości. Metoda uwzględnia nieliniowość składowych mechanicznych, zapewnia możliwość zapobiegania przeciążeniom i przegrzaniom.

W artykule przedstawiono budowę urządzenia i przebieg badań w procesie certyfikacji zewnętrznych hydrantów pożarniczych oraz przykładowe wyniki przeprowadzanych za jego pomocą testów. Rozwiązanie techniczne urządzenia i realizowane za jego pomocą procedury badawcze służą do certyfikacji na zgodność z najnowszymi normami europejskimi i są wykorzystywane w procedurach dopuszczania hydrantów do stosowania w systemie bezpieczeństwa powszechnego.

The article presents the structure and principle of the operation of a device used for certification testing of outer fire hydrants and the results of the testing processes. Technical solution of a device and scientific research procedures to be applied during testing are in line with the latest European norms concerning admission scheme for hydrants as fit for use in public safety system.
