The species of wood in constructions of 7 historic churches in Mazovia region - Part 4. The wood species in constructions of 7 historic wood churches on Mazovia region were determined. From the XVIII c. were the 4 churches (Stara Rawa, Waliszew, Boczki and Leoncin) and from XIX c. were 3 churches (Wilków, Brok and Ostrów Mazowiecka). These studies are a continuation of the earlier, on the other 25 and 12 historic wooden churches and 9 roof constructions from the Mazovia region. In all churches found in the constructions of walls and roofs only timber of Scots pine as material of large-size structural elements. The results obtained here confirm previous observation, that contrary to the findings of ordinary, building material components of large-size wooden construction in the Mazovia region was Scots pine. The change the oak wood for Scots pine wood in pins of roof constructions occurred in and after the XVIII c.
