W opracowaniu przedstawiono zarys problematyki projektowania budynków schronisk wysokogórskich z wydobyciem istotnych czynników kształtujących ich szeroko rozumianą architekturę. Nacisk położono na aspekty energetyczno-ekologiczne. Pod tym kątem dokonano analizy autorskiego projektu schroniska na przełęczy Krzyżne w Tatrach Wysokich. Celem pracy było określenie znaczenia rozwiązań energetyczno-ekologicznych w architekturze schronisk wysokogórskich na podstawie oceny możliwości i racjonalności ich wprowadzania. Oceny tej dokonano w odniesieniu do rozwiązań pasywnych, techniczno-materiałowych i instalacyjnych. W konkluzji stwierdzono, iż budynki schronisk wysokogórskich są szczególnie predestynowane do implementacji rozwiązań energetyczno-ekologicznych, jednocześnie mogąc na tym polu stać się istotnym stymulatorem rozwoju.

The study presents an outline of the problem concerning the design of high-mountain shelter buildings, with the focus on important factors that shape their architecture in a broad sense. Emphasis was put on energy and ecological aspects. From this perspective, an analysis of the author's project of the shelter on the Krzyżne Pass in the High Tatras was conducted. The aim of the work was to determine the significance of energy-ecological solutions in the architecture of high-mountain shelters based on the assessment of the possibilities and rationality of their implementation. This assessment was carried out in relation to passive, technical, material and installation solutions. The conclusion was that high-mountain shelter buildings are particularly predestined for the implementation of energy-ecological solutions and at the same time they can become a significant stimulator of development in this field.
