The effective utilization of waste heat it is great challenge for highly efficient co-generation based on biogas. The possibility for highly efficient co-generation using biogas is analyzed. The system generating 500 kWe and 700 kWh, where main heat receiver would be village or small city region with central heating system and heat storage system is considered. Both home heating and hot water supply is discussed.

Procesy zmniejszania zużycia energii i zwiększania efektywności jej wykorzystania mogą być prowadzone przez wszystkich użytkowników energii, a także przez wytwórców określonych form energii. W każdej fazie każdego procesu zużywającego energię istnieje możliwość zmniejszania strat energii, a także zużycia energii. Procesy poszanowania energii mogą zatem obejmować wszystkie obszary gospodarki i życia społecznego, w którym użytkowana jest energia. Stosunek społeczeństwa do środowiska naturalnego i jego zagrożenia m. in. poprzez procesy użytkowania energii staje się jednym z wyznaczników rozwoju cywilizacyjnego.

Processes of reducing energy consumption and increasing the effectiveness of its utilization can be carried out by all energy consumers, including producers of different forms of energy. At every stage of every process needing energy application it is possible to reduce energy consumption and energy losses. Thus, processes connected with respect for energy refer to all economic and social life areas where energy is used. Social attitude to environment and its threats expressed by, among the others, rational use of energy becomes now one of the determinants of civilization progress.

The results of analytical research concerning the use of electrical generator plants in regional heat-power stations are given. Rational designs for using waste gas from turbines in water boilers and low-pressure steam boilers are suggested. The efficiency of combined steam-gas plants working in different operating regimes is shown.

The article discusses the results of using waste gas heat from heat power plant boilers. The authors suggest working out rational schemes adaptation for heat-surfaces staying in boiler's air-gas path. There is showed principle possibility of condensation and low-temperature save heat exchangers use on ship power plants.
