Continuation and habituation of exercises are in preventing lifestyle-related diseases. However, existing habituation applications fail to address mental factors of individual users. This study proposes a method to support habituation of exercise. It makes the best use of an accompanying avatars assigned to users according to their motivation. The avatar dialogues with a user every day. It proposes a goal based on the intention level and the current goal achievement of the user. It also shares the results of the analysis on collected data with the user at regular intervals. This method enables the user to continue the daily exercise easily. From the group of pre-survey subjects, we obtained 2 kinds of groups. We created avatars based on each group to verify their effectiveness. We found that the avatars have improved the goal achievements of the subjects.

Visualisation of trial-to-trial variability of brain evoked responses

In measurements of brain evoked activity, the brain response for a repeated stimulus varies from trial to trial. Basing on a mathematical model used for identification of the response parameters, a computer programme for visualisation of such variability has been developed. The programme enables presentation of the response parameters as a map similar to the maps used in MEG/EEG mapping. The authors intend to describe shortly the procedure of identifying the response parameters and their visualisation for an exemplary of real data.

Podczas pomiarów wywołanej aktywności mózgowej odpowiedź mózgu na powtarzający się bodziec zmienia się z próby na próbę. W oparciu o uprzednio zbudowany model matematyczny do identyfikacji parametrów tych odpowiedzi opracowany został komputerowy program do wizualizacji tendencji takiej zmienności. Program ten daje możliwość przedstawienia wyznaczonych parametrów w postaci mapy, podobnie jak w mappingu danych MEG/EEG. Autorzy pragną przedstawić procedurę wyznaczania tych parametrów i ich wizualizacji na przykładzie analizy rzeczywistych danych pomiarowych.
