The aim of the paper is to present how the delivery of goods in the marketing and purchasing group is organized. The article presents the essence and role of marketing and purchasing groups. There were featured the benefits for companies which are functioning within the purchasing groups and how common action affects the logistic costs of the company. It was also discussed how optimization of supply level influences on the financial situation of companies.
