Użytkownicy dróg rolniczych sygnalizują swoje niezadowolenie z istniejącego stanu technicznego dróg oraz sposobu ich utrzymania. Istniejące drogi rolnicze zostały wykonane za pomocą przestarzałych technologii budowy. Nowoczesne metody recyklingu dróg gruntowych z wykorzystaniem maszyn podczepianych do ciągników oraz nowe metody stabilizacji dróg rolniczych za pomocą spoiw hydraulicznych i chemicznych stwarzają szansę na znaczną poprawę stanu i trwałości dróg rolniczych, a także na obniżenie kosztów ich budowy i remontu. W artykule przekrojowo przedstawiono zagadnienie umocnienia dróg rolniczych w Polsce. Omówiono klasyfikację dróg w Polsce oraz zestawiono nakłady poniesione na drogi rolnicze w ostatnich latach. Przedstawiono również krótką charakterystykę konstrukcji drogi z omówieniem jej elementów.

The users of country roads express their dissatisfaction with existing technical condition of these roads and the manner of their maintenance. Country roads being actually in the use, have been realized by means of obsolete building technologies. Present-day recycling techniques of the ground roads, with the use of tractor driven machines, as well as the new stabilization methods of ground roads by means of hydraulic and chemical binding agents, give a chance for considerable improving condition and durability of country roads at lower costs of their building and repair. Paper presents in profile the issue of reinforcing rural roads in Poland. Classification of the roads in Poland was discussed and the inputs on the country roads born in last years were specified. Short characteristic of the road construction, its particular elements inclusive, were given as well.

The paper presents results of 2-years studies on the intensity of water erosion processes in the road gully in Wielkopole near Krasnystaw. Field measurements included inventory of erosion and depositional forms. During the studies, three surface washouts that led to erosion damage were registered. Totally, erosion damage in a form of rills amounted to 144 m3 , and the volume of deposited soil material on the bottom of gully and the roadside ditch was 209 m3.
