The article presents a prototype device for grinding and mixing materials called electromagnetic mill. It further shows the experimental research covering the selection of the optimal design parameters of the internal circuit inductor with the working chamber and the grinding elements with regard to the maximum effectiveness of grinding. The research also addresses how the efficiency of the process is influenced by the amount of grinding elements and the volume of the shredded material arranged in the working chamber of the mill, as well as the shape and dimensions of those elements.

Influence of Regranulate Content on the Functional Properties of Parts Made from Thermoplastic Materials

This paper presents selected results of an investigation into the mechanical properties of parts made from pure thermoplastic materials with the addition of regranulate (recycled grinding material). The tests were performed in accordance with the methodology pursuant to PN EN ISO 527-1/1998, using a classic testing machine. Special attention was paid to the differences in values of the evaluated mechanical properties. The study showed no apparent adverse effects of regranulate content on the properties of the ground parts.
