The level of technology that constitutes the resources of individual countries is an important attribute of development. It is therefore necessary to create new solutions and to empower enterprises with new innovative technologies, preferably derived from endogenous sources. People who are well-educated and young are the most creative and their ideas constitute the beginning of the commercialization processes. The protection of intellectual property facilitates the implementation of these processes, whose outcomes include products that in many cases demonstrate the features of inclusiveness. This paper presents the importance of the actions of patent offices in areas related to the protection of intellectual property with regards to development that brings universal benefits.

Wielość i różnorodność ujęcia globalizacji w literaturze naukowej wywołuje wrażenie wejścia naszego poznania do swoistego labiryntu. Waga problemu rośnie z powodu istotnego znaczenia definicji dla kształtu formułowanych problemów badawczych. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie wybranych definicji globalizacji w oparciu o założone kryteria ich podziału. Propozycją wyjścia z labiryntu jest próba rozróżnienia atrybutów, korelatów i akcydensów jako cech globalizacji.

The large number and variety of definitions related to globalization creates an impression that our cognizance enters a kind of labyrinth. The significance of the problem grows due to the impact of definitions on the shape of research problems formulated. The purpose of the paper is to present some definitions of globalization selected according to assumed categorization criteria. The proposal of finding way out of the labyrinth is an attempt to distinguish between attributes, correlates and accidents in the characteristics of globalization.

Advanced geospatial applications often involve complex computing operations performed under sometimes severe resource constraints. These applications primarily rely on traditional raster and vector data structures based on square lattices. But there is a significant body of research that indicates that data structures based on hexagonal lattices may be a superior alternative for efficient representation and processing of raster and vector data in high performance applications. The advantages of hexagonal rasters for image processing are discussed, and hexagonal discrete global grid systems for location coding are introduced. The combination provides an efficient, unified approach to location representation and processing in geospatial systems.

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie: - podstawowych kwestii związanych z kategorią przedsiębiorczość; - wzajemnych relacji miedzy globalnością, procesem globalizacji i rozwojem zrównoważonym i trwałym oraz wskazanie, jakie jest ich znaczenie dla kategorii przedsiębiorczość; - obowiązujących w procesie globalizacji reguł i czym skutkują one dla przedsiębiorczości; - możliwości, jakie dla urzeczywistniania przedsiębiorczości stwarza rozwój zrównoważony i trwały. Możliwość urzeczywistniania poprawnie zdefiniowanej przedsiębiorczości uwarunkowana jest wyborem koncepcji rozwoju. W procesie globalizacji przedsiębiorczość zmienia swoją naturę i generuje wiele dylematów, ponieważ jest podporządkowana regułom gospodarki sieciowej. Natomiast w rozwoju zrównoważonym i trwałym kategoria przedsiębiorczość może być urzeczywistniana zgodnie ze swoją naturą, a jej rola i znaczenie - wzrasta.

The main purposes of this article are: - analysis main issues connected with the category of the enterprise; - to recognize relations to the idea of wholeness, globalization process as well as sustainable and permanent development and their meaning for enterprise; - characteristic new radical rules which are specify for a Connected World and answer for a question about their results for enterprise; - to find possibilities which are needed for realize enterprise in the sustainable development. A basic hypothesis advanced here is the statement that the possibility of implementation the correctly defined enterprise depended on an adoption of the conception of development. The nature of enterprise is changed in the globalization process. In the globalization process the enterprise generating a lot of dilemmas, because it is depended on new rules of the New Economy. However the category of enterprise can be fulfill agreeably with its nature in the sustainable and permanent development.

Porównano częstotliwość widmową i chwilową. Wskazano na błędy, do których prowadziło nierozróżnienie pomiędzy tymi kategoriami częstotliwości. Podano podstawowe związki pomiędzy charakterystykami tych częstotliwości. Zwrócono uwagę, że istnieją sygnały, dla których jest możliwe lokalne utożsamienie częstotliwości chwilowej i widmowej. Uzupełniono objaśnienie mechanizmu dyskryminacji częstotliwości.

The spectral and instantaneous frequencies are compared. Some misinterpretations resulting from confusing these frequency categories are described. Important relations between some characteristics of the two frequencies are given. The local and global features of the instantaneous frequency are considered.
