The presented discussion concerns the cultural park as an autonomous form of monument protection. It is necessary to define the dependencies and differences between other forms of monument protection in Polish legislation in the context of opposing globalism, which forced appropriate comparisons. The evolution of the monument protection system in the sphere of cultural landscape protection has gone from the problem of views (view from and to the monument), to a comprehensive approach to landscape issues in the formula of a cultural park. Individual stages of the evolution of a cultural park as a form of protection are the result of experience and individual attempts to create and run these parks. Nevertheless, first, to present a complete picture of the phenomenon, it is necessary to present the doctrinal and legal conditions that work complementary or parallel to the monument protection system. A cultural park, in its genesis, was not constructed as a conscious counterbalance to globalism, but in practice, the protection of the identity of a clear place in the landscape becomes a natural obstacle to the pressure of globalization.

Przedstawiona w artykule dyskusja dotyczy parku kulturowego jako autonomicznej formy ochrony zabytków. Konieczne jest zdefiniowanie zależności i różnic pomiędzy innymi formami ochrony zabytków w polskim prawodawstwie w kontekście przeciwstawienia się globalizmowi, co wymusiło odpowiednie porównania. Ewolucja systemu ochrony zabytku w sferze ochrony krajobrazu kulturowego przeszła od problemu widoków (widok z zabytku i na zabytek) do wszechstronnego podejścia do kwestii krajobrazowych w formule parku kulturowego. Poszczególne etapy ewolucji parku kulturowego jako formy ochrony są wynikiem doświadczenia oraz prób utworzenia i prowadzenia tych parków. Niemniej najpierw, aby przedstawić kompletny obraz zjawiska, konieczna jest prezentacja doktrynalnych i prawnych warunków, które działają komplementarnie lub równolegle względem systemu ochrony zabytków. W swojej genezie park kulturowy nie został skonstruowany jako świadoma przeciwwaga dla globalizmu, lecz w praktyce ochrona tożsamości czytelnego miejsca w krajobrazie staje się naturalną przeszkodą dla presji globalizacyjnej.

Artykuł dotyczy zagadnień implikacji rozwoju AI dla zmian paradygmatu bezpieczeństwa, dotychczas posiadającego w swej istocie ontyczny, antropocentryczny wymiar, chociaż wpisany w szerszy kontekst społecznych badań nad postępem i nowoczesnością, oraz wynikających z nich zagrożeń. Warunkowane technologicznie zmiany struktur społecznych zwiększają ryzyko dla ludzkości, zwłaszcza jeśli uwzględnić problem tzw. punktu bifurkacji, w którym układ nierównowagowy jest w momencie krytycznym, a nadal nie stworzono ogólnej teorii opisującej złożoność. Obecnie podstawowym celem nauk o bezpieczeństwie winno być zatem zabezpieczanie ontycznego istnienia ludzkości wobec wyzwań i nowej logiki zagrożeń ze strony super inteligentnej AI.

The article concerns the issues of the implication of the development of AI (artificial intelligence) for the changes of the paradigm of security that has had an ontological, anthropocentric dimension though embedded in the broader context of social research on the progress and modernity and the threats that result from them. Changes of social structures, conditional upon technology, increase the risk for humanity, especially when one considers the problem of so called the point of bifurcation in which non-equilibrium system is at a critical moment, and a general theory describing complexity has not been created yet. Presently, the main aim of the studies of security should be the protection of the ontological existence of humanity against challenges and a new logic of threats posed by super intelligent AI.

Tekst omawia zagadnienia relatywizmu w kontekście międzynarodowej architektury, jak również konfrontuje je z przeciwnymi tendencjami. Wybrane przykłady świadczą o tym, że tego rodzaju architektura jako wynik globalizmu przeciwstawia się tradycji. Mimo przedstawienia główne aspektów relatywizmu, artykuł ten stanowi również prolegomenę do tendencji absolutystycznych w architekturze. Paradoksalnie absolutyzm nie zawsze narzuca architekturze styl historyzujący, lub monumentalny. Relatywizm jednak nie stanowi jednorodnego stylu i nie posiada sprecyzowanych granic. W tym świetle jakakolwiek próba całkowitej negacji tradycyjnych wartości w procesie projektowania wydaje się być skazana na niepowodzenie.

This paper discusses the issues of relativism towards the international architecture but it also confronts them with the opposing ideas. Some examples prove that this sort of architecture as the result of globalism is against the tradition. Despite the presentation of the main aspects of relativism, this article contains the preface to absolutism tendency in architecture. Paradoxically the absolutism of a form does not always mean the neo historical and monumental style. However the relativism is non homogenous style and it has no clear logical limits. Moreover the negation of the traditional values during the design process seems to be doomed to fail.
