Transparency is today one of the most characteristic features of glass architecture, which lets create its various creations. Today, it focuses not only on the transparency of glass facades, but allows it in different ways to limit and grade, also using features such as: semitransparency and translucency. This paper presents a new aesthetic that can be obtained through transparency, with examples of implementation.

Trwałość, użyteczność, piękno to zasadnicze pojęcia związane z architekturą. Sformułowane przez Witruwiusza ponad dwa tysiące lat temu, są nadal aktualne, nawet w odniesieniu do współczesnej szklanej architektury, tak różnej od klasycznych dzieł - zmienia się jednak sposób ich interpretacji.

Formulated by Vitruvius more then two thousands years ago, are still up-to-date, even when comparing with glass architecture, so different from classical works of architecture - however the way of their interpretation is changing.
