Modelling and analysis by the finite elements method of the state of stress and strain in the turbine disk of an aircraft jet engine. An axisymmetrical model of the turbine disk of the K16 engine used on the 122 "Irida" aircraft was developed. A thermoelastic analysis of shifts and strains in the disk was made. The influence upon the results was examined, exerted by ninlinearities resulting from considerable shifts and from the dependence of elastic properties of material on temperature. A thermoelastic analysis of stress and strains was also made. The influence was examined of loading, modulus of strain hardening and geometrical nonlinearities upon a maximal plastic strain.
