Development of National Spatial Data Infrastructure is carried out on the central level within the framework of various projects and committees. The analysis of active Internet services supported by City Halls or the offices of districts authorities shows that these services are developed without any centralized guidelines. These services are rather aimed at meeting as fast as possible potential customers . expectations. Various solutions are applied distinguished by different software effectiveness and different scope of content. This paper contains a review of active Internet services and describes the current state of the law that restricts the scope of the presented content. In the opinion of the author there is no need to make these services uniform but their interoperability should be ensured.
