Zaprezentowano górnictwo Kazachstanu – gospodarza 25 Światowego Kongresu Górniczego. Widać wyraźnie, że to państwo po wyjściu spod politycznej opieki Związku Radzieckiego rozwija się teraz bardzo dynamicznie, dzięki otwarciu się na współpracę międzynarodową w eksploatacji bogatych złóż surowców mineralnych. Światowy Kongres Górniczy w Astanie, jego rozmach i bardzo zdywersyfikowany program, jest potwierdzeniem determinacji i konsekwencji polityki gospodarczej tego kraju oraz niewątpliwie wielkiego szacunku dla branży górniczej i do każdego górnika.

This paper presents the mining industry of Kazakhstan - the host of the 25th World Mining Congress. It is clearly visible that this country, after leaving the political care of the Soviet Union, is now developing very dynamically, thanks to the opening to international cooperation in the exploitation of rich mineral resources. The World Mining Congress in Astana, its impetus and very diversified program confirms the determination and consequences of the country’s economic policy and undoubtedly a great respect for the mining industry and for each miner.

This paper describes mineral resources and the demand for them, taking into account the dynamics and global trends in the economy of raw materials. It presents the importance of mineral resources in the development of the world economy, and the importance of mineral resources that are critical for economic development. The main assumptions presented in this paper are the main assumptions that relate to the sustainable development of the mining sector, the ones that will significantly shape the development of mining in the future.

W artykule scharakteryzowano zasoby i zapotrzebowanie na surowce mineralne, z uwzględnieniem dynamiki i trendów światowych w gospodarce surowcowej. Przedstawiono znaczenie surowców mineralnych w rozwoju gospodarki światowej oraz znaczenie krytycznych dla rozwoju gospodarczego surowców mineralnych. Wskazano także główne elementy zrównoważonego rozwoju sektora wydobywczego, które w istotny sposób będą kształtowały rozwój górnictwa w przyszłości.

Podjęto próbę sformułowania zasad tworzenia zbioru możliwych wariantów oraz opracowania koncepcji jego wykorzystania w systemie sterowania projektami inwestycyjnymi. Zaproponowano wskaźniki efektywności dla potrzeb sterowania oraz algorytm generowania rankingowej listy wariantów.

This is an attempt at formulating the rules of preparing a range of options and elaborating the concepts of their application in the process of steering the investment projects. The efficiency indices for the steering needs and the algorithm of generating a ranking list of options are suggested.
