The method of minimization of complex partial multi-valued logical functions determines the degree of importance of construction and exploitation parameters playing the role of logical decision variables. Logical functions are taken into consideration in the issues of modelling machine sets. In multi-valued logical functions with weighting products, it is possible to use a modified Quine - McCluskey algorithm of multi-valued functions minimization. Taking into account weighting coefficients in the logical tree minimization reflects a physical model of the object being analysed much better.

The work of overflow machines is most often based on two states: the transient state (the values of the system functions change in time) and the set state (the function values do not undergo changes in time or these changes occur from time to time). The main problem of dynamics is to specify the stability of the system layout and then, the real system. The analysis of the stability can be considered from the point of view of stability of an element or the stability of the whole system. During the process of changing the values of construction and/or exploitation parameters are stable. Paper includes examples of applying the Quine-McCluskey algorithm in separate minimization of certain canonical products in the overflow valve modeling in view of stability of single exploitation elements.

The article presents possibilities of using Pneumatics TP101 laboratory workstation and FluidSim P programme for research and testing pneumatic circuits during laboratory classes carried out in the Mechatronics Laboratory of the Faculty of Transport and Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Radom. Examples of laboratory experiments of systems performing logic functions are given.

Stanowiska zostały uruchomione w Laboratorium Mechatroniki, Wydziału Transportu i Elektrotechniki Politechniki Radomskiej i są wykorzystywane do zajęć laboratoryjnych. Podano przykłady realizacji ćwiczeń laboratoryjnych z wykorzystaniem elementów logicznych.

Along with development of power electronics, drives are growing in structural and operational complexity. For research of dynamical efficiency of drives and their control accuracy, mathematical modeling methods are applied. In order to attain credible modeling results, software allowing swift and precise dynamical process simulation should be created. Owing to scarceness of state-structural method, actual large-sized complex modeling can be processed with variable-structural method. Procedure of minimization of logical functions is a component of the programme. The paper presents a ternary minimization algorithm, applicable to construct logical structure of a converter to obtain an optimal form of a matrix, transforming the elementary differential branch equations into the final normal form. The presented algorithm reduces utmost time for determination of all elements of the matrix, which is weighty for efficient drive simulations by use of variable-structural method. It was proven that the presented algorithm is up to ten times faster than the standard Quine method.

Wraz z rozwojem energoelektroniki, napędy stają się coraz bardziej złożone i rozbudowane. W badaniach efektywności dynamicznej napędów i precyzji ich sterowania stosowane są metody modelowania matematycznego. W celu osiągnięcia wiarygodnych wyników modelowania, istnieje potrzeba stworzenia oprogramowania zapewniającego szybkie i dokładne symulowanie procesów dynamicznych. W związku z trudnościami dotyczącymi metod stałostrukturalnych, złożone modelowanie dużych układów może być prowadzone z wykorzystaniem metody zmiennej struktury. Procedura minimalizacji funkcji logicznych jest częścią takiego oprogramowania. W artykule przedstawiono trójkowy algorytm minimalizacji, właściwy do budowy struktury logicznej konwertera w celu otrzymania optymalnej postaci macierzy poprzez transformację elementarnych gałęziowych równań różniczkowych do końcowej postaci normalnej. Zaprezentowany algorytm znacząco redukuje czas potrzebny do określenia wszystkich elementów macierzy, co jest istotne dla efektywnej symulacji napędów z wykorzystaniem metody zmiennej struktury. Zostało udowodnione, że pokazany algorytm jest do dziesięciu razy szybszy niż standardowa metoda Quine'a.
