The paper describes the analysis and discussion of the transport network systems in case of the critical situation that happens during ordinary work. The formal model is proposed –the point of view combines hardware and software resources as well as task definition and dispatcher role. The types of failure, procedures and methodology to reduce the consequences of the system faults are pointed and categorized. The functional and reliability measures are defined. The approach to modeling is based on the system behavior observation. The definition of the critical situation sets are created by reliability, functional and human reasons. No restriction on the system structure and on a kind of distribution describing the system functional and reliability parameters is the main advantage of the approach. The proposed solution seems to be essential for the owner and administrator of the transportation systems.

W artykule przedstawiono modele obiektów wykorzystywane w syntezie układów regulacji położeń siłowników, w systemie sterowania ruchami roboczymi osprzętu jednonaczyniowej koparki hydraulicznej oraz procedury identyfikacji ich parametrów. Dla poszczególnych napędów przyjęto je jako funkcjonalne modele układów jednowymiarowych stanowiących szeregowe połączenie członów: całkującego i oscylacyjnego o zmiennych parametrach z uwzględnieniem strefy nieczułości oraz tzw. współczynnika symetryzacji. Zidentyfikowane modele obiektów regulacji wykorzystano do doboru parametrów regulatorów, również dla sterowania adaptacyjnego. Przedstawiono wyniki badań systemu.

Models of the regulation objects, used in the synthesis of the hydraulic actuators positioning adjustment system which is the part of the control system of the single bucket excavator fixtures, were presented in the paper. There were also presented procedures for identification of their parameters. Models of the objects for specific drives were taken as functional models of one dimension systems being a series connection of summation and oscillation elements with variable parameters, taking into account insensitive zones and so called symmetry coefficient. Identified models of the regulation objects were used to select controllers parameters as well as for adaptive control. Some results of testing the system are presented.

W artykule zaprezentowano zagadnienia dotyczące sposobów i środków technicz-nych do kształtowania modeli użytkowych i wytworów z tworzyw polimerowych w produkcji jednostkowej. Bliższej analizie poddano metodę stereolitografii (SL) oraz selektywnego spiekania laserowego (SLS).

This paper reports on our experiences using datasets from the Visible Human Project in different biomedical applications. Introduced 1994 by the US National Library of Medicine the digitized multimodal anatomical datasets of the Visible Man have challenged the worldwide scientific community. A significant response to this challenge from several interdisciplinary research teams has emerged as a new area of research. This area requires close interaction and collaboration among anatomists, radiologists, computer scientists, mathematicians, engineers and physicians. The digitized volumetric images of the human body have been applied not only for the computer-aided exploration of the human gross anatomy, but also as structural input for the therapy planning and simulation systems. The importance of such virtual patient model is becoming increasingly recognized in modern medicine. To effectively use these specific datasets a sophisticated framework consisting of image processing, computer graphics and mathematical modelling methods is required. In this work various aspects of the developed framework are presented and discussed. Some preliminary results of our biomedical simulations are presented.
