Motivated by applications, we consider new operator-theoretic approaches to conditional mean embedding (CME). Our present results combine a spectral analysis-based optimization scheme with the use of kernels, stochastic processes, and constructive learning algorithms. For initially given non-linear data, we consider optimization-based feature selections. This entails the use of convex sets of kernels in a construction of optimal feature selection via regression algorithms from learning models. Thus, with initial inputs of training data (for a suitable learning algorithm), each choice of a kernel K in turn yields a variety of Hilbert spaces and realizations of features. A novel aspect of our work is the inclusion of a secondary optimization process over a specified convex set of positive definite kernels, resulting in the determination of “optimal” feature representations.

Fusion frames are widely studied for their applications in recovering signals from large data. These are proved to be very useful in many areas, for example, wireless sensor networks. In this paper, we discuss a generalization of fusion frames, K-fusion frames. K-fusion frames provide decompositions of a Hilbert space into atomic subspaces with respect to a bounded linear operator. This article studies various kinds of properties of K-fusion frames. Several perturbation results on K-fusion frames are formulated and analyzed.

In this article, the seismic shakedown FEM analysis of reinforced concrete and composite spatial frame structures on the deformable foundation, taking into account the elastic-plastic and brittle behavior of structures elements, is presented. A foundation consists of group of the piles in the soil. The behavior of soil is described here using and the elastic half-space theory. The pile deformation model is assumed to be elastic-perfectly plastic, where the bearing capacity is determined by the results of testing the soils or the piles themselves. An example of seismic shakedown limit analysis is presented.

W niniejszym artykule za pomocą metody elementów skończonych przedstawiona analiza przystosowania sejsmicznego przestrzennych układów ramowych na podłożu odkształcanym, biorąc pod uwagę sprężysto-plastyczne i kruche zachowanie elementów układu. Podłoże składa się z grupy pal w gruncie. Grunt zachowuje się jako sprężyste ciało półprzestrzenne. W modelu odkształcenia pali założono zachowanie idealnie sprężysto-plastyczne, a nośność graniczna pali określa się na podstawie wyników badań podłoża lub samych pal. Przedstawiono przykład przystosowania sejsmicznego dla opisanego wyżej układu ramowego.

This article presents the issues connected with various types of exploitation wearing and malfunctions of vehicle parts and components in a practical approach – from the perspective of assessments and the opinions of car specialists. The work is illustrated by well-matched illustrations and examples from the expert’s practice. Malfunctions and engine damage have been presented, as well as malfunctions and damage of gear shifts, transfer cases, truck frames and other equipment types. This is accompanied by an assessment of the causes of their occurrence. Everything is supplemented by numerous schemes and figures directly connected with the topic with this subject.

W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienia różnego zużywania eksploatacyjnego i awaryjnego części i podzespołów pojazdów w ujęciu praktycznym – z punktu widzenia ocen i opinii rzeczoznawcy samochodowego. Opracowanie zilustrowano dobranymi przykładami z praktyki rzeczoznawczej.Przedstawiono awarie i uszkodzenia silników i niektórego osprzętu, skrzyń rozdzielczych, ram samochodów ciężarowych - wraz z oceną przyczyn ich powstawania. Całość uzupełniają liczne schematy i rysunki bezpośrednio związane z tematem.

W artykule przedstawiono przykład projektowania układów ramowych z zastosowaniem analizy wrażliwości. Rozważane układy ramowe rozwiązano autorskim programem opracowanym w środowisku MATLAB, metodą elementów skończonych. Badano wpływ zmiany modułu Younga oraz wpływ zmiany wielkości przekroju poprzecznego na wybrane przemieszczenia ramy. Przedstawiono wyniki dla analizy wrażliwości jedno i wieloparametrycznej.

The article presents an example of frames designing using the sensitivity analysis. Considered frames were calculated by means of a MATLAB-based Finite Element Method code. The influence of Young's modulus and cross-sectional dimensions on the selected displacement was studied. The results for single- and multi-parameters sensitivity analysis are presented.

In the paper, objects of modern hall construction of wood and mixed construction of primary structural systems are presented. Plane beam structures as well as trusses, post-and-beam construction, frame and arch construction are described in this paper. Cross-sectional dimensions and maximum span are estimated as well as information on the slope of roof surface is presented for the respective structural systems. The possibilities, restrictions and problems in shaping of architectural forms of the objects' structural systems also are presented in the paper.

W artykule omówiono obiekty nowoczesnego budownictwa halowego z drewna oraz rozwiązania mieszane o podstawowych układach konstrukcyjnych. Zaprezentowano płaskie ustroje belkowe i kratowe, słupowo-ryglowe, ramowe oraz łukowe. Dla odpowiednich układów konstrukcyjnych przedstawiono orientacyjne wysokości przekroju poprzecznego i maksymalne rozpiętości, a także informacje o pochyleniu połaci dachowej możliwej do osiągnięcia. Przedstawiono możliwości oraz ograniczenia i problemy, jakie należy uwzględnić w kształtowaniu form architektonicznych obiektów, ich układów konstrukcyjnych.

Matrices of operators with respect to frames are sometimes more natural and easier to compute than the ones related to bases. The present work investigates such operators on the Segal-Bargmann space, known also as the Fock space. We consider in particular some properties of matrices related to Toeplitz and Hankel operators. The underlying frame is provided by normalised reproducing kernel functions at some lattice points.

Matrix representations of bounded Hilbert space operators are considered. The matrices in question are defined with respect to frames, rather than bases. The frames, a generalisation of bases, used extensively in applied harmonic analysis, are overcomplete sequences. We consider some properties related to tight frames, where, up to some multiplicative constant, a form of Parseval Identity takes place. We also describe parts of spectra of operators in terms of their matrices.

W prezentowanym artykule przedstawiono opis zdyskretyzowanego modelu obliczeniowego i przebieg obliczeń konstrukcji związanych z projektem agregatu doprawiającego nowej generacji, do jednoczesnej uprawy roli i siewu nasion siewnikiem uniwersalnym. Konstrukcją opracowano wykorzystując system komputerowy CAD-3D, którego zastosowanie pozwoliło na budowę wirtualnych modeli bryłowych maszyny. Obliczenia wytrzymałościowe przeprowadzono z wykorzystaniem systemu komputerowego grupy " high rangę ". Wyniki symulacji i obliczeń komputerowych posłużyły do doboru optymalnych kształtów i materiałów wykorzystanych do budowy prototypu agregatu.

In the presented paper there is presented description of discredited calculation model and course of calculations of design connected with project of secondaty tillage set of new generation for simultaneous soil tillage and sowing with the use of universal drill. The design was elaborated with the use ofcomputer system CAD-3D that allowed to build virtual solid models of machine. Strength calculations were carried out with the use of computer system of the "high range" group. The results of simulation and computer calculations served for the choice of optimal shapes and materials to build prototype of the machine.

The new numbers, called II-order perturbation numbers are introduced. Classical II-order perturbation problems can be solved in the new algebraic system as easily as usual problems of applied mathematics, theoretical physics and techniques. Static perturbation problems of a simple frame are discussed as well as dynamical vibration problems.

W pracy przedstawiony jest nowy system algebraiczny, ze szczególnie zdefiniowanymi operacjami dodawania i mnożenia. Wprowadzone nowe liczby nazwano liczbami perturbacyjnymi II rzędu. W nowym systemie algebraicznym i zaproponowanej metodologii klasyczne zagadnienia perturbacyjne II-rzędu mogą być rozwiązywane tak łatwo, jak zwykłe zagadnienia matematyki stosowanej, fizyki teoretycznej i techniki. W przykładzie pokazano zastosowania do zagadnień perturbacyjnych w zadaniu dla prostej ramy, zarówno z punktu widzenia problemów statyki, jak i dynamiki.

The paper concerns wavelet bases in the space L2(M). We give a review of elements of the wavelet theory selected from the point of view of numerical analysis applications. Our purpose is to show properties of a function representation in a wavelet basis, among others, to formulate criteria of global and local function smoothness in terms of its wavelet decomposition coefficients.
