The Dagh Dali Zn-Pb (±Au) hydrothermal prospect is located in the north-west of Iran. Identification of mineralized zones is essential in ore deposit exploration. Different methods have been developed and applied to separate mineralized zones from barren host rocks based on mineralogical and petrographical studies, alteration and host rock changes as well as statistical and geostatistical parameters. This study uses the ordinary kriging technique and the concentration-volume fractal (C-V) method to model the ore body and recognize the ore grade distribution. These techniques were applied on the drillcore data and C-V fractal modelling, values of various ore zones being determined. Four breakpoints were found in the log-log plots which correspond to concentrations of 5.4, 10.5, and 17.8 wt.% Zn. The extractable ore zone for Zn is considered to be in the concentaration range of 5.4 to 17.8 wt.%. Compared to the amount of reserve obtained from the geostatistical method (303,685 tons), it seems that the fractal method is more precise and accurate in the estimation of ore reserves.

In this paper we consider the Quasi-homogeneous Approximation to Describe the Properties of Disperse Systems. We have used the statistical polymer method is based on the consideration of averaged structures of all possible macromolecules of the same weight. One has derived equations allowing evaluation of all additive parameters of macromolecules and their systems. The statistical polymer method allows modeling of branched crosslinked macromolecules and their systems in equilibrium or non-equilibrium. The fractal consideration of statistical polymer allows modeling of all kinds of random fractal and other objects studied by fractal theory. The statistical polymer method is applicable not only to polymers but also to composites, gels, associates in polar liquids and other aggregates. In this paper Description of the state of colloidal solutions of silicon oxide from the viewpoint of statistical physics is based on the idea lies in the fact that a colloidal solution of silica - silica sol consists of a very large number of interacting with each other particles that are in continuous motion. It is devoted to the study of an idealized system of colliding, but non-interacting particles of sol. Analysis was conducted of the behavior of silica sol, in terms of Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution and was calculated the mean free path of the colloidal particles. Based on these data, it was calculated the number of particles capable to overcome the potential barrier in a collision. To modeling of the sol-gel transition kinetics had considered various approaches.

W artykule przedstawiono technikę opisu cech geometrycznych powierzchni, polegającą na złożeniu dwu stereoskopowych obrazów dającym w efekcie jej przestrzenną rekonstrukcję. Wirtualne cięcia tej powierzchni pozwalają na uzyskanie dowolnego profilu powierzchni, który jest podstawowym obiektem badań klasycznej profilometrii. Zaoszczędza to czas i zmniejsza koszty, co w przypadku twardych warstw natryskiwanych plazmowo czyni metodę bardzo konkurencyjną w stosunku do metod klasycznych. Otrzymane w analizie stereoskopowej pliki zawierające informacje o położeniu każdego piksela na linii profilowej poddano analizie fraktalnej przy pomocy dwu różnych narzędzi. Dodatkowo w celach porównawczych wykonano klasyczną analizę chropowatości przyrządem Talysurf_2.

Stereo Imaging concept to 3D reconstruction of plasma sprayed surface has been presented. Virtual cross cutting of surface was provided to obtain profiles which are a basic object of roughness analysis. Presented method is less time consuming and more cost effective compared to classical methods. It provides a big advantage for hard coating surfaces. Output text files which contain X, Y, Z positions of all profile pixels was used to determine fractal dimension D of coating surfaces. Also clasical method of roughness determination with Talysurf - 2 unit has been used to compare these results with results of the newly presented method.
