Istnieje potrzeba badania sprzętu działającego na dużych wysokościach i transportowanego drogą powietrzną. Badanie dotyczy również wpływu szybkiej dekompresji. W pracy znajdujemy omówienie wymagań dotyczących badań i propozycje podstawowych parametrów stanowiska badawczego. Bardzo trudne jest zaprojektowanie stanowiska tak, aby czas dekompresji był zagwarantowany. Sprawdzenie tego warunku zostało zrealizowane.

Testing of equipment used at high altitude and transported by air is necessary. The effect of decompression should be tested, too. The requirements for testing and the most important parameters of the stand are presented in the paper. The required time of decompression should be achieved during the tests. The time of decompression in the projected stand is analysed and calculated.

In comparison with all the known methods of calculation for pressure distributive pipelines (PDP), those developed by Chemyuk, V. V. proved to most exactly agree with results of experiments. Calculated by this technique values of flow rate and of heads of fluid inside PDP practically coincide with experimentaI data.

A new method of calculation in which all geometric parameters of the pipeline and all characteristics of the stream are taken into account is suggested for collector pipelines. The results of calculations made by means of obtained formulae practically coincide with experimental data.

The method consists in a superposition of two algorithms: a quasi-three-dimensional method of the main flow calculations and a method for the flow prediction in the cavities between the stator and rotor discs (side-flows). The interactions between these two flow regions have a significant meaning for the turbine efficiency calculations. as well as for the axial force prediction. The three-dimensional maps visualising the behaviour of parameters of a group of stages are presented . Differences in the calculation series are connected with changes occurring in the geometry of the parts influencing the directions of side-flows (e.g. stator disc holes).
