A short term variation of solar flare in nine months (January 2010 to September 2010) is presented. This paper review and analyze the correlation between radio flux strength measurement and solar flare in the X-ray region. The radio flux measurement data were taken from the National Research Council; Ottawa while hard X-ray emission observed by Royal Observatory of Belgium. The overall range of solar radio flux recorded in this study ranging from 68 x 10-22 Wm-2Hz-1 to 96 x 10-22 Wm-2Hz-1. As there was no class of an X of solar flare reported at all in this study, we can confirm that there are no major effects that happened on Earth and outer space such as Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) and solar storms. We concluded that the Sun shows a very minimum activity towards 24th solar cycle.

In this paper we report some results obtained from multi-wavelength observations carried out to study the mechanisms operating in flares and filament eruptions. Most of these studies have given indication of the presence of phenomena that might be considered signatures of magnetic reconnection, while others have pointed out the important role played by magnetic helicity transport in corona before the eruptive phase.

Wdrożenie w Polsce nowego wzoru moździerza kalibru 98 mm zrodziło potrzebę opracowania pełnego asortymentu amunicji, w tym naboju z pociskiem oświetlającym. Wykonano i przebadano na poligonie modele pocisków. W artykule przedstawiono wybrane zagadnienia z badań konstrukcji modelu 98 mm pocisku oświetlającego na podstawie analizy wytężenia elementów z zastosowaniem metody elementów skończonych przy użyciu programu INVENTOR PRO 2008 firmy AutodeskŽ. Przeprowadzono analityczne i numeryczne obliczenia wytrzymałościowe wybranych detali. Próby poligonowe strzelaniem oraz próby statycznego rozcalania pocisku oświetlającego wykazały dalsze kierunki modernizacji konstrukcji. Jednocześnie widać dużą użyteczność zastosowania analizy wytężenia elementów na etapie konstrukcji modelu pocisku ponieważ pozwala ona na wizualizację rozkładu naprężeń i przemieszczeń. Na tej podstawie można już wstępnie przeprowadzić optymalizację konstrukcji danego detalu. Oczywiście ostateczną weryfikacją prawidłowości przyjętego rozwiązania są badania poligonowe.

Implementation in Poland of new type of 98 mm mortar caused the need to work out complete assortment of ammunition for this mortar, including mortar illuminating shells. Many models of such type mortar shells were made and tested. In this paper it was presented selected problems appearing from construction investigations dealing with model of 98 mm mortar illuminating shell on the basis of analysis on effort of structural components of this type shell with usage of finite elements method realized by means of AUTODESK Ž Corporation computer software INVENTOR PRO 2008. For selected construction of this type mortar shell components there were conducted analytical and numerical stress calculations. Firing tests in proving ground including static firing tests on programmed bursting of mortar shell body indicated further directions for modernization of these shells. Simultaneously it is visible high usefulness of analysis on effort of structural components of above type mortar shell in the stage of its construction designing because such analysis allows for visualization of strain and stress distribution in material of investigated shell components. On above mentioned basis, it is initially possible to realize construction optimization of given shell component, but of course dynamic firing tests in proving ground will bring final verification of assumed construction solution of 98 mm mortar illuminating shell.

Przeprowadzone analityczne i numeryczne obliczenia wytrzymałościowe wykazały potrzebę optymalizacji konstrukcji przecinaka.

A method of finished elements exploited by the INVENTOR 11 numerical code is used in the paper to show a concept to upgrading the cutter design model on the base of its components stress concentration analysis and a reason for it is the fact that analytical and numerical calculations substantiate the need for such optimisation.
