In the present paper an analysis of models for eqitype and multi-type claims processing, when general number of insurance contracts is function of time, is carried out. The closed queueing networks are the models for claims processing. The problem of optimal number of estimators on definite intervals of time is considered.

Polish life insurance market after 10 years of dynamic development has come in the recent two years in the stagnation which forces insurance companies to review their present strategies. This forced the insurance companies to revise their strategies. The main areas of competition between those companies are the sales networks, changes in the conception of new insurance products and the quality of customer service. In this article, the author proposes solutions in the mentioned areas of marketing competition.

Polski rynek ubezpieczeń na życie po dziesięciu latach dynamicznego rozwoju wszedł w ostatnich dwóch latach w okres stagnacji, co wymusza na firmach ubezpieczeniowych rewizję dotychczasowej strategii. Walka konkurencyjna między towarzystwami ubezpieczeniowymi rozegra się głównie w zakresie kreowania sieci sprzedaży, zmian w konstruowaniu produktów ubezpieczeniowych oraz jakości obsługi klienta. W niniejszym referacie autorzy sugerują rozwiązania w wymienionych obszarach konkurencyjnych działań marketingowych.
