The results of optimization research aiming at selection of such a CaO dosage and other parameters which when used in process would make it possible to reduce the load of phosphorus compounds and forms, fatty compounds, suspensions and COD in treatment of sewages from production of vegetable fats were presented. The independent variables i.e. volume (X1), contents of ether extract (X2), total phosphorus content (X3) in raw sewage, CaO dosage (X4), temperature (X5) and time of process (X6) have been determined. An effect of indepen-dent variables on reduction of total phosphorus (Y1), total suspensions (Y2), ether extract (Y3), COD Cr (Y4) and BOD5 (Y5) was described by regresion equations in the form: Yx = AX1 + BX2 + CX3 + DX4 + EX5 + FX6 + G. The statistical parameters of recession have been presented.
