Ocena zanieczyszczenia środowiska metalami ciężkimi na terenie Parku Krajobrazowego "Podlaski Przełom Bugu"

Wschodnie tereny Polski to obszary cenne przyrodniczo zarówno w skali kraju, jak I Europy. Należy do nich dolina środkowego Bugu, objęta ochroną jako Park Krajobrazowy. W pracy podjęto próbę oceny zanieczyszczenia środowiska metalami ciężkimi na terenie Parku Krajobrazowego "Podlaski Przełom Bugu". Badano zawartość metali w opadających pyłach, glebie i mniszku lekarskim (Taraxacum officinale Webb.) w pięciu miejscowościach położonych na terenie parku. Nie odnotowano przekroczeń dopuszczalnych norm średnich rocznych wartości opadu pyłu, ołowiu i kadmu na terenie Parku, chociaż lokalnie w Janowie Podlaskim stwierdzono podwyższony w stosunku do norm opad ołowiu. Zawartość metali w glebach odpowiadała "0" stopniowi zanieczyszczenia gleb metalami ciężkimi. Przy odczynie badanych gleb ok. pH 6-7, niewielkich stężeniach metali w glebie, pierwiastki: Cd i Pb gromadzą się w mniszku lekarskim w ilościach śladowych. Wyniki badań wskazują, że na terenie parku Krajobrazowego "Podlaski Przełom Bugu" nie występują zagrożenia ze strony metali ciężkich.

The eastern area of Poland is the land of great natural worth both on a country and Europe's scale. This area encompasses the valley of the middle-Bug river that is preserved as the Landscape Park. In this research an attempt was undertaken to assess the heavy metal pollution of the environment in the area of the Landscape Park named "The Podlasie Ravine of the Bug River". The level of heavy metals in falling dust, soil, and Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale Webb.) was being examined in the five localities, situated in the area of the Park. The research showed that none of the mean permissible standard values of the falling dust, Pb and Cd were outreached; however, it was observed that the fall of Pb was locally higher in relation to the standard Pb fall values in Janów Podlaski. The concentration level of the elements in the soil equaled the "0" degree of heavy metal pollution of the soils. In the circumstances of the reaction soil about pH 6-7 and low concentrations of the metals in the soil the Cd, Pb elements accumulate in Dandelion in trace quantities. The obtained results indicate that there is no threat whatsoever existing in the shape of the heavy metals in the area of the Lanscape Park "The Podlasie Ravine of the Bug River".

Badano ilość opadających pyłów i zawartych w nich metali ciężkich oraz poziom metali w glebach w czterech miejscowościach gminnych byłego województwa siedleckiego. W żadnym z punktów pomiarowych nie zostały przekroczone NDS opadu pyłów, ołowiu i kadmu. Najwyższe współczynniki wzbogacenia pyłów w metale odnotowano dla Zn, Cd Pb. Wyższy opad Zn i Pb oraz wyższe koncentracje tych pierwiastków notowano w pyłach zebranych w okresie zimowym niż letnim. Wyniki badań sugerują, że głównym źródłem tych metali w pyłach opadających są procesy spalania węgla. Wskazane jest stałe monitorowanie cynku w opadających pyłach oraz określenie norm dotyczących jego opadu.

Amount of dust deposits containing heavy metals and the level of metals in soil in 4 communes of ex-province of Siedlce were monitored. Dust deposits of lead, cadmium never exceeded level of the maximum allowable concentration. The highest factors of dust deposits enrichment were noted for zinc, cadmium and lead. Higher concentration of zinc and cadmium was found in falling dust collected in winter period, than that in summer one. Research results suggest that the coal burning processes were main source of the heavy metals in dust deposits. Monitoring of zinc in the dust falling and to define its deposit standards is recommended.

W pracy przedstawiono wyniki oznaczeń metali: Cd, Pb, Cu, Zn, Mn, Fe i Ni w pyłach opadających, glebie i mniszku lekarskim Taraxacum officinale (Web.) na terenie Mińska Mazowieckiego. Badania prowadzono w latach 1996-1997. Odnotowano, że opad pyłów, kadmu i ołowiu nie przekracza NDS. Spośród oznaczanych metali stwierdzono najwyższy opad dla cynku. Także w glebach zawartość Zn jest podwyższona w stosunku do natualnych stężeń tego pierwiastka w glebach Polski. Niemal wszystkie oznaczane metale koncentrowały się w korzeniu mniszka lekarskiego w stężeniach proporcjonalnych do ich stężeń w glebie. Wykazano, że korzeń mniszka lekarskiego wyraźnie przyczynia się do detoksykacji gleby z metali ciężkich, głównie kadmu i miedzi.

Results of studies of the heavy metals: Cd, Pb, Cu, Zn, Mn, Fe and Ni in falling dust, soil and Taraxacum officinale (Web.) have been presented. The studies concerned the area of Misk Mazowiecki and were conducted in the years 1996-1997. It was noted that Cd and Pb dust deposit did not exceed the maximum allowable concentration. From among the metals investigatd the highest deposit was found for zinc. Zinc concentration in soil is also higher than the natural concentration of this element in soil from other areas of Poland. Almost all the marked metals concentrated in Taraxacum officinale (Web.) root in concentration proportional to the one in soil. It has been proved that Taraxacum officinale (Web.) root significantly contributes to soil detoxication, especially from cadmium and cooper.
