In the paper the construction and operation of the laboratory stands purposed to modeling of phenomena occurring during I phase of die casting processes have been described. The stands, as well, will serve for investigation of phenomena occurring during filling the die cavity with liquids modeling the liquid cast alloy. The selected results of the modeling of I phase of die casting process and the attempt to methodology of future investigations concerning the die filling process have been discussed.
