Artykuł dotyczy zagadnień ewaluacji pracowników naukowych. Prace związane z oceną dorobku nabierają szczególnego znaczenia zwłaszcza w okresie tuż przed ewaluacją instytucji. Deponowanie danych publikacyjnych odbywa się w systemach mających służyć ewaluacji w Polsce: system POL-on (baza PBN). Zaprezentowane aspekty ewaluacji są związane z pierwszym kryterium tj. publikacyjnym (kryterium 1). Dla nauk inżynieryjnych wkład wynosi 50%. Ocena odbywała się w ramach dyscyplin/ny deklarowanej przez pracowników poszczególnych jednostek. Publikowanie wyników prac badawczych jest obowiązkiem każdej osoby zatrudnionej na etacie badawczym, czy też badawczo dydaktycznym. Zaprezentowane przykłady związane są z oceną dorobku publikacyjnego z zakresu BHP i szeroko pojętej inżynierii elektrycznej. Czasopisma przywoływane w artykule mają przypisane dyscypliny inżynieryjne, w tym inżynierię środowiska, górnictwo i energetykę.

The article presents the issues of evaluation of researchers in Poland. The work related to the evaluation of the achievements of the achievements becomes particularly important, especially in the period just before the evaluation of the institution. Depositing of publication data takes place in the systems intended for evaluation in Poland: POL-on (PBN). The presented aspects of evaluation are related to the first criterion, i.e. the publication (criterion 1). For engineering sciences, the contribution is 50%. The assessment took place within the discipline/s declared by the employees of individual units. Publishing the results of research work is the responsibility of every person employed in a research or research and teaching position. the article presents examples related to the assessment of the publications in the field of occupational health and safety and broadly understood electrical engineering. The journals in the article are assigned engineering disciplines, including environmental engineering, mining and energy.

W artykule wyjaśniono specyfikę nauk geologicznych i górniczych, związek ze złożem, warunkami górotworu i otoczenia oraz wynikające stąd konsekwencje dla możliwości szerokiego adaptowania rozwiązań. Opisano niektóre patologie w dziedzinie publikacyjności oraz negatywne efekty uboczne wprowadzonych zmian w przepisach o szkolnictwie wyższym. Wskazano zagadnienia, których rozwiązania pilnie potrzebuje branża górnicza, które jednak ze względu na swoją specyfikę nie mają wpływu na poprawę oceny dorobku naukowego w rygorach nowej ustawy. Wśród nich wymieniono skomplikowane przepisy prawne z obszaru górnictwa i geologii oraz ochrony środowiska, które ustawicznie nowelizowane skutecznie utrudniają, a czasem uniemożliwiają działalność gospodarczą w branży surowcowej.

The article explains the specificity of geological and mining sciences, the relationship with the deposit, the conditions of the rock mass and the surrounding area, and the resulting consequences for the possibility of a wide adaptation of solutions. Some pathologies in the field of publishing have been described as well as negative side effects of the changes introduced in the regulations on higher education. Issues indicated, the solutions of which urgently needed by the mining industry, which, due to their specificity, do not improve the evaluation of scientific achievements in the terms of the new act. They include complex legal regulations in the field of mining, geology and environmental protection, which, when constantly amended, effectively hinder and sometimes prevent economic activity in the raw materials industry.

W referacie przedstawiono kompleksowy system dokumentacji prac naukowych pracowników Politechniki Wrocławskiej i stan jego realizacji oraz perspektywy rozwoju. Zaprezentowano bazą dorobku naukowego DONA. Podkreślono znaczenie systemu ALEPH iv realizacji wspólnej platformy do rejestrowania i wyszukiwania danych bibliometrycznych. Opisano projekt rejestrowania cytowań i powiązania prac cytujących z pracami cytowanymi z bazy DONA. Omówiono wskaźniki, kryteria oraz przykłady statystyk i raportów przydatnych w analizie naukometrycznej dorobku piśmienniczego, wykorzystywanych przez władze uczelni, pracowników, MNiSW, a także przez instytucje zajmujące się tworzeniem rankingów i ankiet. Opisano również system ewaluacji dorobku piśmienniczego wykorzystujący IF, LF i punktację MNiSW. Szczególnej analizie poddano listę czasopism punktowanych MNiSW, podkreślając uciążliwości, jakie niesie korzystanie z niej. Przedyskutowano znaczenie i możliwe kierunki rozwoju baz danych dorobku naukowego w skali uczelni oraz całego kraju.

Scientometric analysis of the publication output of universities - criteria, statistics, reports. The paper presents a complex system for documenting scientific dissertations of the employees of the Wrocław University of Technology and the state of its implementation, as well as its development prospects. It presents the scientific output base DONA. It emphasizes the importance of the system ALEPH in the implementation of a common platform for registering and retrieving bibliometric data. The author describes the project of registering citations and connecting the citing works with the cited ones from the DONA base. The article discusses indicators, criteria and examples of statistics and reports useful in the scientometric analysis of the writing output, applied by the university administration, employees, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, as well as institutions engaged in the creation of rankings and surveys. Also, the paper describes the system of evaluating the writing output, applying IF, LF and the scoring of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Special attention should be paid to the list of scored journals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, emphasizing the inconveniences entailed by using it. The author discusses the importance and possible directions of the development of scientific output databases in the scale of a university and of the whole country.
