The sequential method of integrating navigartional parameters obtained from non-simultaneous navigational measurements is presented. The proposed algorithm of position coordinates estimation is general and includes two modes of data processing - from simultaneous and non-simultaneous measurements. It can be used in hybrid receivers of radionavigation systems integrating non-homogeneous position lines or in integrated navigation systems, particulary in receivers combining the measurements of various satellite navigation systems.

W artykule omówiono wkład Stanisława Trybuły w badania dotyczące sekwencyjnej estymacji dla procesów stochastycznych. Dwa jego artykuły, opublikowane w Dissertationes Mathematicae (1968, 1985), miały istotny wpływ na przyszły rozwój tej dziedziny i zainteresowały wielu statystyków matematyków. W artykule pokrótce omawiamy rezultaty uzyskane przez autorów zainspirowanych tymi dwoma fundamentalnymi pracami Stanisława Trybuły.

This article provides an overview of the theoretical contributions made by Stanisław Trybuła to the field of sequential estimation for stochastic processes. His two papers, published in Dissertationes Mathematicae (1968,1985), have had a substantial impact on the field’s future development and influenced many statisticians. We give a short review of main results of those authors, who had been inspired by the two fundamental works of Stanisław Trybuła.

W pracy przedstawiono sposób wyznaczania współczynnika przewodzenia ciepła i ciepła właściwego ciał stałych wykorzystując dane pomiarowe i metodę estymacji sekwencyjnej. Analizę dokładności i efektywności algorytmu obliczeniowego oraz jego wrażliwość na postać funkcji celu przeprowadzono za pomocą eksperymentu numerycznego. Symulowane dane eksperymentalne otrzymano zaburzając generatorem liczb losowych rozkład temperatury otrzymany z rozwiązania bezpośredniego zagadnienie przewodzenia ciepła (dla założonych wartości współczynnika przewodzenia ciepła i ciepła właściwego). Przedstawiono przykładowe wyniki badań.

The way of determination of the thermal conductivity and specific heat of a solid bodies using the measurement data and a method of sequential estimation has been presented in this paper. An analysis of a accuracy and efficiency of a calculation algorithm and its sensitivity with respect to the influence of a form of objective function has been done by means of numerical experiment. The simulated experimental data have been obtained perturbing by means of random-number generator a temperature field obtained from solving of a direct heat conduction problem (for assumed values of thermal conductivity and specific heat). The exemplary results of study has been presented.
