Piękno oznacza możliwy do uchwycenia stopień rytmizacji i zharmonizowania. Piękno to stopień powtarzalności postrzegany pomiędzy elementami rzeczywistości w przestrzeni i czasie. Piękno i czytelność mają, jak sądzę, wspólną istotę: mentalną radość, którą budzi zrozumienie tego, co czytelne i postrzeżenie czegoś jako piękne. Zrozumienie i odczuwanie piękna jako rozgraniczanie, rozdzielanie zrozumiałego i niejasnego, spójnego i niejednorodnego, informacji i zgiełku, ziarna i plew.

During thousands of years, Great Aesthetics Tradition has made the layman understand architecture as a conventional language. This common code was undergoing a very slow evolution, but only this code makes possible to evoke the sense of beauty. According to Lipps-Meyer's principle, conventions as a meaningful skeleton understood by everyone are urgently needed in modern architecture.

But in the everyday life both seem to be equally alluring, inevitably entwined in common activities and existence. Architectural form has been related an external problem. As well as aesthetic, beauty and originality are important, but we can't forget about fundamental aspects functional area. In the other words, the principle that form follows function might be restared.

Architecture of events is architecture beyond aesthetics. With some new tools like superposition, crosspro-gramming, disjunction, diagrams and folding developed by Tschumi, Eisenman and Koolhaas we can make architecture without designing of form, function and structure. Last year two of my students developed graduate projects using tools of architecture of events, which shows that architecture can reach beyond aesthetics.
