Petroleum resins modified simultaneously with maleic anhydride and styrene have been synthesized on the basis of C9 fraction, whieh is a by-product of ethylene production. The effect of temperature and process time on the yield and main characteristics of the resins has been studied with the following amounts of eomponents (mass %): C9 fraction - 70, styrene - 30, maleic anhydride - 1 and an initiator - 5. The structure of the product is con-firmed by chemical and IR-speetral methods. The conversion of unsaturated compounds presented in the C9 fraction during cooligomerization and material balance of the production process have been calculated. Hydrocarbon composition of strippants has been determined.

Z frakcji C9, produktu odpadowego pirolizy oleju napędowego (dieslowego), otrzymano żywice petrochemiczne z grupami epoksydowymi, modyfikowane jednocześnie bezwodnikiem maleinowym i styrenem (PRESM). Badano wpływ temperatury i ilości bezwodnika maleinowego na wydajność reakcji i właściwości otrzymanych żywic; ich budowę badano za pomocą widm IR. Wyznaczono bilans materiałowy produkcji ww. żywic, jak również skład chemiczny nieprzereagowanej części surowca, tj. frakcji C9.

Petroleum resins with epoxy groups modified with maleic anhydride have been synthesized on the basis of C9 fraction, which is one of the waste products of diesel oil pyrolysis. The effect of temperature and amount of maleic anhydride on the yield and properties of obtained resins bas been determined. The resin structure containing fragments of maleic anhydride was also studied by lR spectral measurements. The material balance of the production process bas been calculated and hydrocarbon composition of solvent strippers bas been determined.

Syntheses of petroleum resins with epoxy groups in the presence of peroxy initiators (dianic epoxy resin, [formula] have been deseribed. The effeet of kind and amount of oligomeric peroxide initiator as well as of the process temperature and duration on the yield and characteristics of synthesised petroleum resins has been examined. The yield of the syntheses has been increased by [formula] mass % addition of styrene to the raw material. IR-spectral and chemical investigations have elucidated the structure of the synthesised resins.

Stosując oligomeryczne nadtlenki (z żywicy epoksydianowej, [wzór] oraz wodoronadtlenku tert-butylu) jako inicjatory, otrzymano petrochemiczne żywice z grupami epoksydowymi. Zbadano wpływ rodzaju i ilości inicjatora nadtlenkowego oraz czasu przebiegu procesu na charakterystyki i wydajność syntezowanych żywic. Stwierdzono, że dodatek [wzór] styrenu do substratu zwiększa wydajność tego procesu. Strukturę zsyntezowanych żywic badano za pomocą metod chemicznych oraz widm IR
